Teaser Tell All

Hello Class – the graphic is a bit of a flashback but we thought it might be fun to have a different START to our Tell All Class!     After all, we had a bit of a different TEASER yesterday didn’t we?!

Yes it WAS different and I’m not sure I liked that!

So sorry but if your sensibilities were insulted by a little extra FUN on a Teaser Tuesday then TOUGH because we Professors believe in SHAKING THINGS UP once in a while!

Ready to hear the scoop?    We’ll start by letting you know WHO was our FIRST COMMENTER – and YES we only had ONE First Commenter yesterday instead of a couple.    Our “Firstie” was what we refer to as a Frequent Flyer when it comes to being FIRST……..someone who obviously keeps an eye on their computer on Tuesdays and the minute we go live – HE’S THERE!

Yet again Timmy was the first to shout out his presence in class at Ding Dong School yesterday so he gets this badge ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL to himself:

Then it was WAIT AND SEE…………..because we did have a different type of Teaser and it involved multiple photos and multiple possibilities so it took a while for people to research and figure out what their guesses were going to be!     The GRAPHICS Department put the Teaser together and we thought it would fool EVERYONE but no it did NOT.    Here are the photos and possible cities again that needed to be “matched up”:

The CORRECT answers for each photo were:

PHOTO 1 – Hong Kong

PHOTO 2 – Singapore

PHOTO 3 – Toronto

PHOTO -4  Chicago

PHOTO 5 – Sao Paolo

Those who figured out that you could use Google and ask for “aerial photos of big cities” – might have been able to weed through tons of photos looking for these and found them – EVENTUALLY, but the person who was FIRST RIGHT was pretty QUICK to be right………..and it was our frequent winner and heavy traveler who got the order right FIRST:

Timmy Tomcat was a FIRST COMMENTER and the FIRST RIGHT GUESSER on the Teaser of October 22, 2019! WOWZERS!

There were a FEW MORE of you wonderful students who got ALL of the cities right……………….and if you were one of them, please take a copy of this award because we are PROUD of you for figuring them out!    By the way, even if you didn’t get ALL of them right but maybe a couple of them right?   You did SUPER DUPER WELL!

I wasn’t FIRST but I was RIGHT with my guess on the Teaser of October 22, 2019!! YAY FOR ME!

And if you were WRONG with your guesses but you still TRIED – well you definitely deserve a GREENIE!

So I tried but just didn’t get all the answers right on the Teaser of October 22, 2019 – I got a GREENIE badge though!

Everybody give yourselves a cheer…………………………our Cheer Team will do that too but you should pat each other on the back for a job well done – it wasn’t easy around here yesterday with a change of Teaser TYPES.    Next week we have our Halloween Teaser class.    BOOOOOOOOOO!

But we’ll shave our legs before class so we won’t be hairy!

Gosh girls – no need to do the leg hair thing – we’re used to – and love – your furry legs!     But we hope we will see you in costumes – that will be fun.    I’ve heard Miss Dingleberry is planning a special spooky menu too.    Some people say every day she has SPOOKY menus but we think – and more importantly the School Board thinks – that she does a great job feeding us good lunches around here.   So let’s head over now and EAT shall we?

Happy Wednesday Teaser Class……I know it was a “trying” class today because you had a different kind of Teaser but perhaps we can restore your energy level with a good lunch!

Thank you Doctor KATZ, I appreciate you trying to keep us relatively GERM-FREE.     Now shall we continue with the reason we’re here this morning?    We have a TEASER photo for you and we have this feeling that you won’t have a clue.   We even blocked out one sign because it MIGHT have had a clue……..if there are other clues we sure don’t see them so without further ado, what say we give you the RULES for today then show you the photo????

Teaser Tell All Time!

Happy Tell All Wednesday students……….please have a seat and we’ll “tell it like it is” !!

Our Teaser yesterday was meant to be a bit of a toughie………………..believe it or not.    How did that work out?   Well we’ll tell you that in a minute………..BUT FIRST, would you like to know who was the FASTEST responding to notice of the blog going live yesterday?   Our FIRST COMMENTER was the one and ONLY one to share that spotlight in the first minute.

It’s been a while since we had only ONE First Commenter………….but we knew our Cheer Squad would be happy that they didn’t have to cram and jam three or four names in for FIRST COMMENTERS – and we will do almost anything to keep them happy around here!!!

We thought FOR SURE it would be difficult to determine if this was taken somewhere in the USA or another country…………….the architecture we thought might make it tough.   HOWEVER, it wasn’t tough enough!    This is the beautiful campus of the University of Vermont in Burlington, Vermont………..and several of you guessed it correctly but only ONE of you was FIRST to guess correctly……………WHO???????????????

Oh Professors no worry – we’ll be ordering…..uhh…..orange juice…..yeah….OJ !

OK that’s good.   I was worried for a minute.    Maybe I should ask Miss Dingleberry’s Assistant Chef to escort you girls to the pub?

Uhhh…..on second thought we’ll stay on campus and practice our cheers………

Next week we’ll have another Teaser for you so spend this next week studying your geography books students…………….maybe you will be lucky enough to be a winner and have your name go down in history in one of our Cheer Team’s fabulous cheers…….in the meantime, Miss Dingleberry is back and her Assistant has been reassigned by the school system to be Head Chef at the Ernie Hemmingway Special School for Incorrigible Kitties so we won’t be seeing him any longer (unless you become incorrigible, are a cat, and get sent there by your parents!).

Pre-Tease Monday

Class Is Back In Session!

The school bell is ringing so you’d better get your REAR in GEAR and take a seat!!

Sarge is back from his little break too….and he’s WATCHING YOU!

That’s right – we had a little break while the Professors’ family was out of town but now it’s back to schoolwork for everyone so settle down…..HERE COME THE PROFS….

We missed you all….hope you put your little break to good use and are ready for figuring out a Teaser photo this week……

Before we get started I wanted to introduce our newest student – he transferred here from another school – his name is Cooper Murphy Blue so please make sure you introduce yourselves to him at recess today and welcome him to our happy little team of TEASER guessers.

Let us remind everyone in class that we DO have some rules that must be followed in order to make guessing the Teaser Photo tomorrow FUN for everybody…………here they are:

1. When you make a guess tomorrow as to where the Teaser photo(s) were taken, you must guess the TOWN/CITY/VILLAGE where the photos were snapped AS WELL AS what country (if not in the USA) or state (if in the USA) you think is the location for the photos.  
2. We have been asking everyone to please make it fun for EVERYONE by not using a Google Image Search or any other photo program assistance to tell you where the photo was snapped – it’s a whole lot more fun – and more fair – if you just look at the photo and figure it out from what you see.    OK?   It makes it more fun not to let your computer do all the work for you – let your mind and your eyeballs do the work for you!!!

When you arrive in the classroom tomorrow – remember to go to COMMENTS and speak up – why?  Because the FIRST to comment tomorrow on the Teaser blog will get a special badge!!!    Sometimes we have more than one commenting in the first 60 seconds and if we do then EVERYONE in that first minute gets a badge……….woo hoo.

Thank you Suzie………………I hope you’re right – that everyone didn’t take advantage of a week off just to get crazy and party hearty – studying would have been to their advantage since Teaser Tuesday is NOT always easy.   Tomorrow’s Teaser is a GUEST TEASER too……………….so no parties tonight!

Just another reminder that since Tuesday Teaser falls RIGHT ON HALLOWEEN this year, we are letting all of you come to class in a Halloween costume – and we will show off your costumes in a cool slideshow if you submit a photo of you in your costume to me via email by a DEADLINE DATE OF OCTOBER 29th!     Don’t miss the deadline – it will be fun to dress up and let everyone see what cool costumes you found for Halloween!    Miss Dingleberry is planning some special Halloween snacks for us before recess that day………………Oh boy!

Remember at recess to welcome our new student Cooper Murphy………………make him feel at home – and make sure and warn him that we mean business around here when we say STUDY HARD FOR TUESDAYS!
