Welcome Class! Time to find out who wins what for this week’s TEASER!
First thing to tell you is that we have TWO FIRST COMMENTERS from yesterday! So we’re handing out two badges to the lucky students who were PROMPT in getting to class yesterday. Who were the lucky kids???
Pix from UNDER THE OAKS and Annie from ANIMAL COURIERS
WOO HOOOO!!!!!!! Here’s your badge ladies:
Then we waited for one of you to figure out where our mystery photo had been taken………………..it was a bit of a tough photo we thought – and we want to thank our GUEST TEASERS, the Kitties Blue from THE CAT ON MY HEAD for sending it in to us! This is for you to thank you for being our GUEST this week:
Here’s the fabulous photo they sent in:
It’s a DOOZY! Where is it??????
It’s the STAN MUSIAL Memorial Bridge which is the bridge that spans across the Mississippi River between St. Clair County, Illinois and the city of St. Louis, Missouri! It’s a super interesting type of bridge called “CABLE-STAYED”…………and if you’d like to learn more about them, here’s some really interesting information you might enjoy taking a peek at CLICK HERE
Who was the brilliant student who guessed FIRST what this bridge was and where it’s located????
SPEEDY our Cheeky Rex Rabbit friend…..!
YAY SPEEDY!!!!!
Here’s your FIRST RIGHT GUESSER badge dear Speedy!
But you need to know that we have several MORE students who knew about this bridge…………..yep – we sure did – and each of you who guessed CORRECTLY get one of these of your very own:
Did you guess but guessed incorrectly??????? Well, good for you taking a leap of faith – at least you guessed and even though you were WRONG, you get one of these:
Congratulations winners AND losers……! There’s always next week right?
In the meantime, here’s our cheery little cheer team to congratulate the winners of this week’s Teaser:
That’s the spirit we like to see at Ding Dong School!! How about we all reward ourselves with one of Miss Dingleberry’s fabulous lunches? She’s giving her seafood bar a whirl today so step right up and get something yummy for your tummy!
congrats Pix, Annie and Speedy!!!! well done!!!! oh boy we were so far away… and we came tooooo late… fault of the mama she did asomething embarrassing in her junk store ;O)))

ok, ok… she was in her store, bought a truckload of trashures and a foldable rain barrel… at the checkout she thought she can load all trashures in that barrel thingy to carry it to the car … all other customers grinned gleeful as she couldn’t move the barrel… not only one inch… she had to reload all her stuff and she walked 3 times to the car and back…ther ego is smashed and my dad’s budget too ;O))

Oh I love that story…..I think my Mom probably would have tried the same thing EXCEPT I must admit that if she thought the other stuff she got was HEAVY she wouldn’t have tried. She would have loaded it all back in the cart and pushed it all to her elephant skate. I think you need to confess this one in the blog – tee hee.

they have only carts for the store you can’t take them outside… that is always a big problem because the mama never left that place with empty hands hahahahahah

UHOH…….maybe she needs a collapsible cart to keep in the elephant skate of her VERY OWN??!!

<Teddy… guess what? we have such a thingy… but it slept in the car while the mama was in the store… that's because she hasn't planned to buy something ….hahahahaha… that was a good one, right?

Oh well we ALL know that if your Mama is going shopping she WILL get SOMETHING – it’s “nature’s way” !!! As long as there’s plastic or paper in the pocket, there will be some empty shelves at the TRASHURE shop! LOL

That’s an impressive looking bridge. Even if I had been able to get thru the glitch I would have been wrong. I had another bridge’s name ready to pop in there. Good Morning Teddy and Mommy.

Good Morning pretty Katie! There are a number of those cable-stayed bridges around and no clues in that photo so it truly was a tough one. That WordPress glitch got my Mom upset but I calmed her down as only a kitty can do!!
Love, Teddy ❤ 🙂

It’s a weird looking bridge and knowing those big loopy things are holding up the bridge makes me a little uneasy. LOL Anyway, glad you enjoyed your seafood/sushi today!

How about changing the rules? If you don’t get it right, you’re forced to eat Miss Dingleberry’s food.

Wouldn’t that be considered “cruel and unusual punishment” ??

The Teaser crew finally uses a photo of something in my backyard, and I only kinda recognize it. In my defense, the bridge is relatively brand new and I’ve only actually seen it at night. The Musial Bridge is on I-70, which was rerouted away from downtown and the bridge and its associated highway serve as a sort of bypass from the spot where four major interstates (44,55,64 and 70) all once converged on the Missouri side of the Poplar Street Bridge (Which looks nowhere near as cool since it’s just a glorified overpass)…
