Good Morning Class! Time to TELL IT ALL !
We really did think that it would be FOREVER before the Teaser yesterday was guessed BUT we were wrong………….in spite of what we thought was a photo with very FEW clues, we still managed to get more than one correct guess but there still was only ONE FIRST RIGHT GUESSER. We’ll tell you who that was in just a moment but FIRST……………..
Who was our FIRST COMMENTER???? WELL, we had FOUR OF THEM in the first minute of class!
Annie of Animal Couriers
Da Phenny of Easy Weimaraner
Oliver and Calvin
Carole and Katie of Katie Isabella Colors My World
Each of our FOUR Firsties gets one of these badges:
Yes the Cheer Team thankfully were all soaking in their Team Hot Tub when word got to them that there were FOUR First commenters…………they were surprisingly nonchalant about it – makes me wonder WHY. I’m sure they will have something to say about it with their cheer later though!
The wonderful photo was sent to us by Carry of CARRIELOVESCATS. Carry has two cats and lives in Scotland. She’s also a mighty good photographer! Here’s the beautiful photo she allowed us to use for Teaser yesterday:
This is one of the Fairy Pools that you must cross over to get to some beautiful waterfalls in Glenbrittle, Isle of Skye in Scotland. She has visited – lucky her!!! Thanks Carry for the very very cool photo! This badge is for you:
Thank you Carry!
Who was the FIRST to guess correctly this week??????
ANNIE of ANIMAL COURIERS!!! Yes – she is a double winner this week! Annie, this is for you!
Several more students guessed the Teaser correctly though – and for that, each of you who did gets one of these badges:
And if you guessed but weren’t right – you get a Pre-Teaser GREENIE badge of your very own!
Well, what a great geography class we had this week right students? Who knows – perhaps NEXT week it will be one of YOU! Just keep studying and learning the fine art of looking for clues and you might get a badge soon.
Let’s see what the Cheer Team has to say shall we??
I guess everyone is ready to head over to the cafeteria? Let’s go………………and we’ll see you again next Monday for PRE-TEASER class then TEASER on Tuesday……………never a dull moment in Ding Dong School !
Gosh I should’ve known this. Congratulations to all the winners. x😻💜🐾🐾

In other news… Santa Paws is looking for a new summer residence.

Oh Clowie – I guess we gave Santa’s hideout away didn’t we. So sorry…..I think he probably has to move around a lot. People have “SANTA RADAR”…..!!

It wasn’t so bad because everyone is at the winter residence getting ready for Christmas. Santa has decided that the next summer residence will have as much security as his winter residence – invisibilty shields and so forth.

Invisibility shields would help a WHOLE LOT to keep his summer residence secure…..of course he could hire YOU too as a bodyguard dog. That would be another WISE choice!!

Germany is wonderful……….really wonderful. I lived in Weisbaden for two years as a little girl but even I can remember at that young age how gorgeous Germany is!

Why did you live there? Have you been back as an adult?

My Dad was career Air Force and he was stationed there for two years. We lived in a rented duplex off base which was right across the street from a HUGE and beautiful park. I can CLEARLY remember my kindergarten classroom and teacher. I have not been back to Weisbaden as an adult but HAVE been to other places in Germany. My brother, however, DID go back to Weisbaden and through my Mom’s old address book found the wonderful lady who was our “nanny/housekeeper”……amazing.

If you don’t already, learn some German – they love that we TRY even if we’re not good at it. Blend in – don’t be a tourist, be a German (you will find that easy to do!). RELAX…..have fun….the little villages are the most fun – big cities are big cities all over the world but the little street cafes and beer gardens in the smaller towns are magic. You will want to go back again…………..

Ich kenne ein bisschen Deutsch, aber ich möchte mehr lernen. I wish I had time. I would like to rent a small place for a month or so but we only have about ten days and my wife wants to cram everything in. She wants to see castles and get a coo coo clock in the Black Forrest.

You’ll be JUST FINE – even if you know very little German (but I’m impressed!). I don’t honestly remember that much – I was only four/five years old – but I DO remember a little of the language and even just saying a FEW words in German went miles in the friendly department! There are some beautiful castle (we did the Rhine River cruise) and went to a souvenir shop in the Black Forest where they had fabulous cuckoo clocks. They’re everywhere and beautiful. We got a small one – we were on that cruise before we got used to travel and realized you an buy anything and have it shipped home. We got a small cuckoo and took it home ourselves in our suitcase! Darn! You will have a wonderful time…………

I think we will have fun. I’ve been looking at schools around here for German class but they are difficult to find. Everybody teaches Spanish and French but not German.

We had a VERY ITSY BITSY bit of snow this morning but it melted the instant it hit the ground AND was more like a sprinkle of sugar than snow! This weekend we have a better chance though Pipo – maybe I’ll see some varmints????

We cannot even believe someone figured out this Teaser. We didn’t have a clue. Concats to all the winners. Now we have to decide what to eat. So many great choices. We were wondering if those of us who attend class could give Miss Dingleberry a makeover for a Christmas present? She needs it and deserves it for how hard she works. We agree about the Teaser – we were amazed that Annie and some others figured it out AT ALL. You know, Miss Dingleberry is rather touchie about stuff (no surprise there!) so not sure how she would react to the suggestion of a makeover. We have heard through her friend Marge though that Miss Dingleberry has thought about perhaps getting a depilatory treatment (!) and some new glasses in the new year. We’ll see how that works out!
