Hello Friday Friends! This is a fun Blog Hop hosted by Four-Legged Furballs and 15andMeowing. They each give us four sentences with blanks and we fill in the blanks. The result is we find out a whole lot about each other! Want to join in? Just click the badge above and link up.
Here are the four sentences for this week and Mom and I are sharing filling in duty again – if I fill in the blank it’s GREEN but if Mom fills in a blank her words are in BLUE.
1. I wouldn’t mind being stuck in an elevator with a full food bowl and a comfy bed with a blanket – yeah – I could handle it until the elevator was fixed!.
2, Now that the formula shortage is fixed, I wish something could be done about the pet food shortage. (although I think the cat food shortage is worse I know some dog peeps have a problem too! Thankfully my Mom has been able to find substitutes for me most of the time…..yay Mom!)
3. If I had to sum up my life in one sentence, it would read as follows: She may have some regrets but wouldn’t change a moment of her life except maybe to make it longer AND have more cats!
4. Forgetting someone’s name is an awkward situation in which I once found myself in (actually more than once this has happened to me with someone I’ve MET but don’t really know)
See? Easy Peasy…………and fun too! I can hardly wait for NEXT Friday to see what our hosts come up with.

Nothing in this world could persuade me that being stuck in an elevator is okay! It took me years to go in one, and even now I can’t go in alone. That is the reason Ivor was so proud of me when I went up the Empire State Building with him several years ago. That was a really big deal for me.

I hope to not get stuck in one at all…I did get stucjk in one as a child…I panicked…and nearly ran the service man down in my hurry to get out. I wasn’t really stuck, apparently I was not hitting the right floor and the thing didn’t do anything because we were already on the floor I was pressing. Yikes!

Uhoh….well I haven’t done that one – yet – but NEVER say NEVER right?

It would be a big deal for anyone! We did go up the Empire State Building in an elevator I’m afraid…..and I’m proud of you for being able to make it up all those stairs!!

I didn’t go up the stairs! I am claustrophobic (not to extremes) and I don’t like heights. But I gritted my teeth and went to the top in the elevator which is why it was such an achievement for me.

Well doing something out of your comfort zone is an amazing feat. I can remember feeling very WEIRD at that height. Not dizzy really but a little disoriented. My Dad had a thing about heights..I remember when he was shopping for a condo in a brand new condo building, he would stop on every floor and go out on a balcony to see if he could handle the height…..he did that until the 5th floor which was the LIMIT for him and that was the condo he bought. LOL

The pet food industry has issues for sure! Sometimes here, the shelves are full and next time they are barren.
I seem to be a magnet for awkward situations…LOL!
AKA: Put your foot in your mouth…but I need to open mouth and stick in the other foot!

GREAT fill-ins, love the elevator getting fixed, haha. But then it will MOVE, Teddy…uh, oh. and yes, papa sometimes forgets names of people he is meeting and says he is very careful NOT to say a name because the person might be his SISTER or ….

Mom does the same thing when she can’t remember a name – it’s just “OH HIIIIIIIIIIII! How are you?????????? So nice to see you!” (but in her head she’s saying – duh – who the heck are you?!).

I have had that happen…colleagues I worked with, but not together. Just in the same environment. Know the faces… but really haven’t known their names enough to have committed them to memory even then, So I just plain ask who they are. But so far, I haven’t had the awkward ones where they are seen every day people. *GASP*

YEs what is up with the cat food. There always seems to be lots of dog food at the stores.
I 100% agree with #4 not recalling names. Many years ago we saw the same couple several times a month at a cafe. They always called us by name. It took forever for us to remember where we knew them..but never remembered their names. Now anytime I see someone I haven’t seen in a while
I identify myself.

If we identify ourselves it sometimes leads to the other person identifying THEMSELVES and we don’t have to have that awkward “who the heck are you” going on in our heads! One of the joys of getting older…..!!!

Great fill in answers, Teddy and mom. And I don’t understand the cat food shortage either. You think by now it would have eased up a bit. ~Ernie

Forgetting names seems to be a daily occurrence as we grow older. The cat food shortage has been a pain, especially with the various prescription diets. We are not going to complain, however, as we know that is a small thing in the scheme of current affairs. Looks like we are in store for another ugly day. Sheesh, it sure is getting old. Love to all at your house. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, angel Mauricio, Misty May, angel Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy, Sawyer & Kizmet

Yes ugly days have turned into an every day occurrence haven’t they. Storms, endless mud, soggy grass, worrying about the weather forecasts every day. Time for some warmth, some sun, and some drying out. The icky weather fits the mood but is getting VERY OLD!!!!!!!
Happy Caturday!

I forget not just names of people, I am an equal opportunity forgetter! My memory is AOL, mostly because I constantly feel distracted about all the things I am concerned about in our WORLD!
Great Fill-Ins Teddy Boop and Teddy’s Mom!

There are a lot of serious distractions in our world….this latest one is simply heart-breaking…..The world is not the world I grew up in for sure and I tell myself that I was lucky that it was NOT like it is now. I went to school feeling safe – and I was safe. I walked around my neighborhood and visited my friends feeling safe – and I was safe. I went shopping and felt safe. I would wish that for EVERYONE but those days seem to be truly gone.
Hugs and love, Pam

My food is still a bit of a problem and for some unknown reason it seems cat people have had a tougher time than puppy people with food. Anyway, hopefully things are close to being RIGHT AGAIN!!
