Friendly Fill-Ins (again)

Standard

OOPS!  WE MADE A BOO BOO YESTERDAY AND POSTED THIS INSTEAD OF POETIC AND THANKFUL THURSDAY – SO HERE WE GO AGAIN!!!!!

Happy Friday!   Time for filling in the blanks – cool way to get to know each other isn’t it!   If you’d like to join us – click the badge above – it takes you to 15andMeowing – look for the spot where you can link up with us and DO IT!   Our co-hosts give us four sentences with “blanks” and we put our own words in – easy huh?

This week I’m doing the filling in all by myself…………..my own words are in BLUE.

1. My toy basket is too lumpy sometimes to lie in so I just scoop out enough of them to get comfy and have a snooze.
2. I am willing to give up treats for extra trips outside – unfortunately my Mom and Dad aren’t interested in this trade!
3. One random fact about me is if my Mom puts her head down close to my face for any reason I try to eat her hair!!!
4. My personality makes me unique.   (Mom says she’s had a lot of cats but NEVER had one like me…..ever!)

So there you have it – another Friday with new information about yours truly, Teddy Kimmell.   By the way, about my toy basket……..only recently – after living here for almost four years – did I get IN my toy basket and have a lie down.    It’s just been where all my toys are kept and where they all belong.    Then I decided to try it out as a bed (I showed this photo on Sunday Selfies a few weeks ago) and since then, Mom noticed that I scooped some of the toys out of it before I got in it.    So she tried removing ALL the toys – and left the blankies in it.    I like it!    BUT next day I put some of the toys  back in it.    Is Mom now very confused?

YES!

Does it bother me that I’ve confused my very own Mom?

No!

Is this a fun game to play with her?

Totally!

I’m such a little devil……………….good thing my parents let me get away with just about anything…………..no wonder this blog is called ONE SPOILED CAT.

Me in my CROWDED Toy box…….Happy Friday!   Love, Teddy

    • Miss Ingrid I most certainly will tell Mom and aren’t you SWEET for sending her that message….. ❤ I do like to guard my toys and sort through them from time to time. They are almost all "soft" so lying on them isn't a problem. The only thing that bothers me is once in a while when I move around while I'm asleep in the box is that one of my "noisy" toys that will sound off when touched or moved FREAKS ME OUT! HAHAHAHA SURPRISE!!!

      Hugs, Teddy

  2. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers Teddy. I am sorry you can’t make a deal for more outside time and less treats. That is too funny that you put some of the toys back in your box- I guess you know how you want it. I love the photo of you snoozing in the box. Have a wonderful weekend-and don’t eat your mom’s hair. 🙂 XO

  3. MOL MOL MOL eating Mom’s hair…well yay you!! Too funny., Uncle of angel Madi had a kitty many many moons ago licked hair. But you had to be sitting in a particular chair (her favorite) she would hop on the back and lick hair.
Teddy you are the prized toy in the toy basket.

  4. My BODY is sometimes too lumpy, haha. Diet time.
I’m willing to give up going on diets so that I can keep my occasionally lumpy body, haha.
One random fact about me is that I will flop on my back for ANYONE who will rub my tummy.
My meow in trying to choose which room I will enter makes me unique…also hilarious.

  5. “I’m such a little devil”
    “LITTLE”??? REALLY???
Btw, whenever Mister Pickwick can sneak up behind my head, he starts to eat my hair, too.
Have a great weekend, and stay healthy – all of you!

  6. We have a toy basket too but nobody naps in it. It looks uncomfortable but I know that cats can sleep anywhere. I have a photo of our cat Princess napping on Rose’s dresser using the alarm clock as a pillow.

    • I like to keep Mom guessing about my toy box…..this morning I pulled EVERYTHING but the blankie out and curled up and slept while she watched TV – an hour later she came downstairs to find that I’d put five toys in the box. Who knows what’s next??!!!

  7. You look very sweet sleeping in your toy box, Teddy. Tell your mum and dad that extra trips outside are good for you, and you have to make the most of it before winter comes.

  8. Teddy! Yous is a CHARACTER! No doubt about it! But then all us guys is! And I and not too keen on treats! I would give them up anythime. Kozmo, however, LIVES for treats. Evefurry time he comes inot the house he thinks he should get some – He tells us his Dad used to gives him treats each and everytime he wanted. And I LOVE you sleeping spot! It is purrfect!

    • IT’s a great sleeping spot AND good way to keep control of my toys too!!!!! I like treats alright but if I had to give up SOMETHING – it would be those…not my outside time, my hugs from Mom, my toy box but treats – I COULD do it!

      Hugs to all of you

  9. You are DEFINITELY unique, T. And I think your toy basket looks perfect just the way it is. I’m not sure I agree with the treat/walk trade-off though…

  10. Teddy, you did a masterful job filling in. Trading treats for outside…not sure we could do that. Angel cat, Thelma, used to eat our mom’s hair. This is indeed a fact we did not know about you.
