Friday again! Woo Hoo! Let’s see what kinds of cool sentences our co-hosts of this Hop have for us today. 15andMeowing and Four-Legged Furballs come up with some GREAT “holes” in their sentences and we do our best to fill them in.
Here are this week’s sentences – two from each of our co-hosts and if you would like to take a stab at answering these yourself, just click the badge above – it takes you to Four-Legged Furballs and all you do is fill out the LINKY form and you’re in with us. I filled out #1 and #3 and Mom did #2 and #4. Mom’s words are RED and mine are GREEN (festive huh?!)
1. UPS and FED Ex trucks coming up my driveway all the time stresses me this time of year.
2. My favorite holiday film is National Lampoon Christmas Vacation (although I have to say White Christmas is a close second!)
3. If you ask me, getting extra treats makes this season merry and bright.
4. Christmas music brings back memories.
Mom says she’s just a big old (very old) kid when Christmas rolls around. I am kind of “blah” about it but then I didn’t know what all the hubbub was about when I came to live here. I spent my first Christmas of life WHO KNOWS WHERE – maybe in the woods? Maybe in a barn? My parents adopted me AFTER Christmas in 2017 – it was February. So by the time we had my First Christmas it was kind of just another day except they put a tree in our library. HAHAHA Anyway, I suspect when I’m allowed to play with the present wrappings and ribbon on Christmas day I’ll perk up a bit. Also I can see what Santa Paws puts in my stocking!
Remember – behave yourselves because Mom says SANTA PAWS CAN SEE EVERYTHING…………….that’s a little scary but I believe it!
we wish the postman would come… but he is probably still in strike mode hahaha

Such a shame you all have to worry about getting your mail and getting food and getting a Christmas tree!!!!! Bah Humbug!

The post were talking about striking here too so I got all my cards out early. I haven’t heard any more about it lately so hopefully the strike is off. At least it made me get on with my cards!
I love Christmas music too. Last Christmas when we went away to the hotel, all daytime and evening entertainment was included and it felt like a big party the whole break. The icing on the cake for me was getting back to the room in the early hours of Christmas morning and finding a big sack of goodies from Santa. I really did feel like a big kid and was so excited!!

That sounds like a magical kind of Christmas and I always feel like a kid at Christmas – doesn’t matter your age, it’s that feeling in your heart that counts. We will be kids forever dear Jackie!!

Teddy, I am with you on the FedEx and Brown Trucks! We have speed bumps down our street and they don’t slow down for them.. they just go bumping and speeding right over them. Yes to White Christmas and Christmas music. Friends make this season merry and bright… they truly do. Treats are good too, Teddy!

Mom is giving me extra treats but I know that’s just because I’m trying extra hard to be adorable this time of year – Mom has a direct phone line to Santa Paws and if I’m not GOOD – well – my stocking won’t have fun stuff in it!

OH Teddy! You darling little boy! Seriously.
I love Christmas music but the “real” music, not loud clangy “modern” stuffs.

We don’t listen to all that modern stuff – some of it is just plain ICKY! We like the old timey, old-fashioned, wonderful REAL Christmas music!

Super fill-in answers from both of you. Mom loves Christmas music even though it sometimes makes her leaky eyed.

My Mom got choked up this morning listening to Christmas music – some memories of her Dad singing when he made Christmas morning breakfast. I guess we all have tears AND smiles associated with the holidays…..!!! 🙂

We enjoyed your answers! The delivery trucks make us totally nervous too Teddy. We won’t watch Christmas Vacation because of the cat.

That’s the only part none of us can stand to watch! 🙂

Don’t worry about the trucks, they’re treat carriers and you wouldn’t want to be without.

Those strangers in trucks can be scary, but i think they only drop stuff off and leave.
It’s great to be a big kid or kitten this time of year, enjoy your tree!

I’m with you, T. Christmas treats are the best treats of the year. Mom says Elf is her favorite Christmas movie. Like Buddy, she also likes the 4 food groups of “candy, candy corn, candy canes, and syrup.”
Love and treats,

Such fantastic fill-ins from both you and your mom, Teddy! We’re huge fans of National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation as well. It plays multiple times during the Christmas season at our house. We just hope your viewing of it isn’t interrupted by any of those pesky UPS or FedEx drivers, Teddy. Merry Christmas season!

We managed a “non-interrupted” viewing of the movie and intend to try for that again before Christmas as once is just not enough! HAHAHA
