Silent Sunday

It’s too danged hot to do anything but be QUIET today……so I’m sharing a photo of one of my Mom’s old oil paintings which is a great SUNDAY theme anyway!

STAY COOL………(if you’re hot)………..STAY WARM……….(if you’re cold)…………see you tomorrow!

Mom painted this about 25 years ago from a photo of an Eric Sloane painting…..

That is so pretty. Warm and 78 with maybe some rain. Sure better than the almost 100 with heat index. My kitties are getting much needed window whiffies today. So much so it tired them all out. LOL. Have a great Sunday Sammy.

I hope things have cooled off for you. On hot days the Miao Brothers sort of wilt and nap away all day, unless we have the AC on. I don’t like the AC but I am significantly outvoted by the Miaosies plus my father.

  Things are still hot and steamy here and no sign of rain which definitely makes it worse. Washington, DC area is famous for humidity and without A/C it gets QUITE miserable. Fresh air is best but not if it’s 105 degrees! LOL
