Fill-Ins on New Year’s Eve

Happy New Year’s Eve!

Last time we’ll be filling in the blanks in the year 2021.   A big thank you to our co-hosts for taking us through the year with plenty of blanks to fill with our own words.   If you’d like to join in, click the badge above and LINK UP.    This is your last chance to be a 2021 participant – OR you can wait until next Friday and start off your New Year RIGHT by filling in the blanks with us.

Mom and I both did some filling in on this set of sentences………..if Mom’s words are there, they are in BLUE and if they’re MY words they’re in GREEN.

1. I had hoped to go on one final river cruise in Europe in 2021 but didn’t.  (for obvious reasons!)
2.A goal I have for 2022 is (hopefully) to do that river cruise through France (but admittedly it’s not looking good for that right now!)
3. I’ll be ASLEEP when 2021 ends.
4. I hope 2022 brings a HAPPIER and HEALTHIER new year (Mom, Dad and I ALL hope for that!)

So all that’s left for us to do to round out this final fill-in of the year is to wish ALL of you a Happy New Year from me, Angel Sammy, and my Mom and Dad!!

    • We wish the virus would leave too – forever. I have to say that we’d never consider a cruise if it was on one of those humongous ships…..150 passengers on a river cruise is perfect for us. It would be our THIRD one……..we can hope. HAPPY NEW YEAR INGRID!

  4. Never give up on that river cruise! We thought that when we had so many of our cruises cancelled that would be the end of our cruising days but still managed 3 short ones in the later part of this year.
    We have 2 booked for 2022 but whether they will go ahead is anybody’s guess. We all need something to look forward to though.

  8. Me and Mommy will be asleep too! We gave up seeing the New year in some years ago. Work made it impossible unless I was on midnights in my shift rotation.So, we found that the New year arrived without us! We could hardly credit that but…the New year indeed arrived. Though we were absent in dreamland.

    • Dreamland is the safest place to be on NYEve……people get crazy sometimes – our neighborhood will be noisy I’m sure but Mom will put her pillow over her head and I’ll hide behind the couch and we will sleep (I hope!). HAPPY NEW YEAR!

  10. I am still working on my Fill-Ins for over at Ellen’s but my #3 is the same as your #3, Teddy. I hope you get to take your river cruise in Europe, Pam. Happy New Year’s Eve to my Favorite Peeps and favorite Ginger Boy in my favorite little town in Virginieeeeeeeeeeeee!

    • We hope you and SSNS have a wonderful new year – we just must keep hoping that things will change and that we will find our way through the maze that 2021 led us into. Here’s to a MUCH better, healthier, happier 2022 dear friends!!

  11. Lots of warnings about cruise ships just came out. Mom really hopes your mom and dad can get that cruise in. We all wish you all a happy new year.   20. Grate Fill0innss Miss Pam an Teddy!!! BellaSita Mum deecided to due Fill-Innss two…shee has one theme inn mind!

    1) I had hoped to get eyes tested & buy new glasses but did not in 2021.
    2) A goal I have for 2022 is to not lose my sanity!
    3) I’ll be dancing when 2021 ends!
    4) I hope 2022 brings and END to Covid for good!

  28. Have a good New Year. I was fast asleep before 11 and slept through until after 7. That’s a lot of sleep for me. I didn’t see the ball drop on the TV or hear the local fireworks but that’s ok! I’m starting the new year rested.
