HAPPY EASTER!

Mom captured a few pix of me taking it easy in the “Grandma’s Chair” in the guest room and then worked some EASTER magic on it to make my selfie for today.
I look pretty casual don’t I ?? Well, I may look sleepy but my mind is always going……..yep – I was thinking about where the Easter Bunny might hide eggs for me and my Dad to find tomorrow morning. My nose will lead us to them I bet.
In the meantime, excuse me while I return to my nap – a guy needs plenty of rest to tackle Easter egg hunting. Especially with my Dad!

We are about to have some rain but we have SPRING anyway – our trees are finally greening up like the grass and the dogwoods are blooming and Mom’s pink and white bleeding hearts in the garden are in bloom. Also I’m about to go outside with my Dad for a walkabout. YAY! I hope your snow doesn’t last long Kosmo!

We suddenly wondered if there is any connection between the hiding of Easter eggs and the hiding of the Afikoman at the Passover seder.
The main thing is, that Mr. Sunshine should NOT hide, because We all want spring to be here.

Well, its a quiet Easter here, though petcretary took the weekend off…so she was going to have a 6 day mini-vacation…we are all stuck at home…no travel to her sister, or her coming here…and the unfurbros are not traveling out of their places either…so…*she* colored some eggs and laid them in a basket and they are having them to eat. She put the props from our photo session in another basket…MOL!

It is indeed an unusual Easter this year for all of us…..no family dinners, no hiding Easter eggs for the kids (Mom hid them for Dad only!) and no church in person. We sure hope everyone is just concentrating on the “reason for the season” and praying that the monster-virus GOES AWAY soon. Too much sadness and sickness…..You all TAKE CARE and STAY HEALTHY….. OK??? OK!!!!!

We had a lovely day……….it was mostly sunny and I got to munch on the outside grass a bit – I tried to find the trail that the Easter Bunny had taken to find our house but couldn’t. I think it’s SECRET!

I sure did – Mom and Dad let me to outside a whole lot and I looked everywhere to see if the Easter Bunny had left anything in my yard…..he didn’t but I ate some nice grass and chewed on a stick and ran like the wind!

We had a very quiet and Easter Bunny-less Easter this year but Mom still colored eggs with food coloring and hid them for Dad in the basement (I helped him find them). We are happy just to be healthy and together! Hope you all stay safe too!!
