Friendly Fill-Ins on Friday

Standard

Happy Friday!   You know what that means – filling in the blanks on the Friendly Fill-Ins Hop co-hosted by Four-Legged Furballs and 15andmeowing.    If you click the badge above, it will take you to 15andMeowing and you can link up to fill in your OWN blanks.

This week’s blanks and sentences they are in are below.  Mom and I share or trade off every week in filling in.   Who’s in charge this week?   Mom!   Her fill-ins are in GREEN.

1. My favorite Peanuts character is Snoopy – I have loved him FOREVER and Teddy says that’s OK even if he’s a woofie.
2. I knew I was no longer a child when Mom quit picking my clothes out for me – I’m sure I looked a little strange at school in some of the outfits I put together though!
3. I was shocked when I learned that “You Know Who” from the North Pole was not at the Pole but instead lived in my house with me.
4. I always feel frustrated when I try to do photoshopping in a rush which I sometimes have to do for Cat Scouts events.
Thanks Mom – I’m glad you didn’t complain about ME in any of your fill-ins.   I really don’t mind that you like Snoopy – I think EVERYBODY likes him and Charlie Brown.   They both must be pretty old by now though huh?
Well, have a good Friday everyone…………we’ll be back next Friday with more filling in the blanks……….it’s fun!

Huh??????  You called????

Love, Teddy

  1. we love snoopy too!!!! and the mama picked special clothes for school too.. like her pocahontas costume and the wig…. you wouldn’t believe what war started efurry morning in da house for that outfit…. later she switched to a Boy George costume and that was the moment her parents learnt that to go to school like pocahontas is NOT the worst what can happen…

    • HAHAHAHA…..your Mama really kept her Mom and Dad on their toes didn’t she. A Boy George costume would be most interesting – but I bet she made a cute blonde pocahontas!

  2. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I think we are all shocked to find out Santa lives with us. I fixed the linky, sorry you couldn’t link up before. Have a nice weekend! And Teddy, your mom would never complain about you- you are perfect. XO

  3. #2 answer tickled me.
My daughter always insisted on selecting her clothes but often she’d change her mind in the morning rush. We had an agreement. She could wear WHATEVER she selected but she could not change her mind. Thankfully she was a lover of Barbies and by age 5 had become quite skilled in coordinating outfits. Often colors and prints I would not have selected. LOL

  4. My taste in clothes is not haute couture but if grade school pics are any clue, many of my classmates and I wore stripes with plaids with checks (his was in the mid-1950’s). One picture from a recess shows a bunch of us jumping rope. Half the girls are in Brownie uniforms and the rest of us appear to be wearing our clan tartans.

  5. What do you mean, “You Know Who” from the North Pole doesn’t really live there??? Does that mean that the letters sent up the chimney never reached him?

  6. I love Snoopy. When I was a kid I had a stuffed Snoopy. Snoopy became all worn out to the place the stuffing was falling out after so many years of wear and tear. great answers.

    • Snoopy certainly has been around a long time – like your stuffed Snoopy. My Mom has her original teddy bear from when she turned one so it’s over 70 years old and its’ stuffing is coming out a bit too!

  8. If your mom only gets frustrated with photoshopping, that is terrific; though, we know it can make our mom want to pull her hair out. Mom says she doesn’t remember back to when she started dressing herself. Nice photo of you at the end, Teddy. Oh yeah, Snoopy is a pretty good woofie, if your mom has to like one. Our mom lets strange dogs kiss her. We have no idea what that is all about! • Oh my Mom gets frustrated by a lot of things but if she’s in a hurry (at Scouts usually) and trying to photoshop she says a lot of BAD words! My Mom has some cute “nephew woofies” that live with her sister and she thinks they are adorable but also Mom has always loved Snoopy! If your Mom lets strange woofies kiss her – well – I think maybe she should visit Lucy’s Psychiatric Booth (hahaha).

  9. Your mom’s fill-ins are fantastic, Teddy! This here human is a huge fan of Snoopy as well. But, of course, Garfield is another cartoon favorite around here! And this here human also remembers learning a certain something about a certain someone from the North Pole. What a sad day that was. Purrs!
