Hello everyone who loves Fridays! Here we are at the end of another week which means TIME FOR FRIENDLY FILL-INS! Each of our co-hosts gives us TWO sentences with blanks for us to fill…………..here are this week’s sentences and yet again I decided to be SWEET and let Mom fill them out! Her fill-ins are BLUE this week.
1. I am allergic to NOTHING – I am lucky I guess!.
2. My taxes worked out pretty well this year – we owed $78.00.
3. I don’t tell many people what I weigh – if I did people might recommend this or that diet and I am not a DIETER!.
4. When it rains, I like to sit on my front porch and listen to the rain on the trees.

It’s lovely to be able to be outside without getting wet when it’s raining. The air is so sweet when it’s raining. I don’t mind getting wet, but bipeds (and cats) generally prefer to be in the dry.

It’s so nice to sit in a rocking chair on the porch and just listen to the rain on the porch roof and in the gutter downspouts…..and the wonderful smell of rain……Today though we’re supposed to be SUNNY and highs in the low 70s which is a REAL treat! Happy Friday!

Mom wants to be about the size she was 30 years ago. She used to be TOO skinny when she was a kid and into her 20s, then she gained some weight and never got rid of it…..she’d like to weigh at least 20 lbs. less but dieting is not gonna happen!!!

I agree about diets…I try to eat in moderation…dieting especially with all the special foods is just silly and costly. Love to hear the rain on the sky lights

Mommy doesn’t diet either luckily she has the metabolism of a hummingbird. We like to go out to eat with Mrs Tammy because unlike Mommy she does diet and she feeds us some of her food. Mommy always cleans her plate so she is no fun to eat with. ~Fenris & Tuiren

What no scraps from Mom’s plate? Well, I suppose it’s actually better if we eat our own food but the occasional treat from a human’s meal is – well – a BIG TREAT!

I know – I’ve always been grateful for that…….allergies really are miserable aren’t they! Neither of my parents had allergies either although my sister has allergies to mold and dust. She’s the only one!

We haven’t had rain for a week, and the coming week is supposed to be mostly dry. The temperature got up to 52F today so that was good.
I don’t like getting wet so the only time I like to hear the rain is when I am indoors sitting by the log burner.

I really am not happy when I get wet – I’m one of those people who will use an umbrella even if it’s just “misting” ! We have had a very wet winter and early spring and have rain coming in tonight – BUTTTTT we have a treat today in the temperature department with a high of 75!!!!!! YAY!!!!

We thought that was Teddy’s answer on #3. MOL! Mom says that Mom Pam is so lucky not to have any allergies. She says they are a pain to deal with! Listening to the rain is good from anywhere, unless it is torrential and super cold. Have a great weekend. Love to all. My Mom is grateful not to have allergies – my Auntie Carol has BAD allergies and leaf mold is not a good allergy to have when you live in a woods! It’s raining here today and it’s a nice, gentle rain – perfect for porch sitting!!

Your mom did good filling in this week, T. That said, there is NOTHING I like about rain. That includes getting my feet and face wiped, walking in puddles, and the dreaded raincoat! Ugh!

I must say that you do look very cute in your raincoat but I totally “get” why you wouldn’t like it. We were made to be nekkid. We shouldn’t wear clothing yet our humans love dressing us up like dolls and we go along with it because – well – we love them!!! You always look very much like a little Princess when you wear your dresses but I’m sure you’d rather be in your “all-together” – we were born to be nudists!!!

I am allergic to rain. Every time it rains my skin get soaked and wrinkled, and I start shivering. I also get upset because it’s rained too darn much lately!

Teddy, you are the sweetest mancat, and your mom did a wonderful job filling out these fill-ins! I haven’t met many people who don’t have any allergies. I’m so happy that’s the case for you, though! When it comes to weight, I have also never been a fan of the diet culture mentality either. I feel like most diets turn eating into some sort of game, and that worries me. Have a beautiful day!
