She was thinking of Bergen in Norway, but her photos don’t quite look around to the corner of the part she was thinking of.

After biggifying and looking again, the stalls aren’t right for the market in Bergen. The delivery van looks like one of the refrigerated ones that would be regularly be seen on UK roads, but mum can’t remember the firm’s name offhand. The cars all look like ones that would be seen here as well so we think it is somewhere in the UK. It still looks familiar but we don’t know where!

It could be Budapest, Hungary, but I’m quite sure it’s not. The buildings and the cobbles are to a certain extent similar, but such a street market is rather alien. Maybe Easy is right and Paris?
BTW: The Hungarian term for cobble is “cat stone”.
