Sunday Selfie Hop

Standard

HAPPY SUNDAY!    It’s HOP time – and we love to hop with The Cat on My Head kitties – if you’d like to do the same you can click on their badge above and link up with the rest of us “Hoppers” !!

Mom caught me day before yesterday watching out the upstairs window across from the landing as the crew were here taking down three dead trees in our front yard.  Oh boy.  Five guys running around and climbing way up in the trees and lots of noise and so much to watch.    I usually hide when there’s noise but this was just too much fun to run!    Anyway, she had her camera of course so got a couple of shots of me – one of which we are using for my Selfie today.

Here’s the original:

Not an exciting photo but Mom loves it when I have my legs like that AND she says I have a cute butt.    To each his own on that I say but if she likes it that’s fine with me!    Of course she had to put it in Lunapic and add some cool effects to it – here’s the result of THAT:

This is me after Mom applied Lunapic’s “SUNSHINE” Art Filter to my photo!   I love my furs and all the oranges and yellows!

We did a puzzle of this one for you if you’re interested!

Click the Mini-Me picture for the puzzle and GOOD LUCK!

  1. I can see you being fascinated in the taking down of the trees. We took plenty of them down on the Tiny Ten and the big Oak on the boulevard was taken down here and I stayed glued to the view of them taking it down. Sunshine filter made for a very sunny, ginger-ie selfie this Sunday!

  2. Well, good morning handsome Orange King! I have watched a tree or two come down myself on occasion! Noise and more noise but fascinating and I can just relax in the window and snoopervise- just as you are doing.

    • They were VERY noisy and so was that chipper thing they were shoving the branches in BUT after I got used to it, I kinda enjoyed it – like a great big gigantic beaver gnawing away at the trees. HAHAHA

  3. Tubby had a great time watching the tree guys here. Jake who I thought would go and hide was looking out almost the whole time they were here. We have a bird making a bird nest on the back deck. Have a great day.

    • The tree guys were very cool – especially when they were climbing up the trees with those spiked boots and swinging on ropes and stuff – maybe I can be a tree guy when I grow up?

  4. What an amazing shot! We are glad that your Mom captured your glorious butt! And we are glad that you like to watch now rather than hide. I, Marv, am no where as jumpy as I used to be either. We LOVED the puzzle too! Thanks for being such great furrends and we hope you guys have an amazingly happy day!

    • Marv I’m glad you are feeling more comfortable with things as far as surprises or noise, etc. go – I would imagine where you came from was very “uncertain” – you had to be on guard all the time. Now, life is more predictable and I’m sure you feel safe and secure. That’s probably why you are not so jumpy!!!!
