Friendly Fill-Ins on Friday

Standard

What? Is it really Friday again already? What is this weird thing about time lately……everything is all topsy turvy. Mom says that’s just the way it is these days. I think she’s right! Whatever the reason, it is time to join 15andMeowing and Four-Legged Furballs for some filling in fun. Each of our co-hosts gives us TWO sentences with blanks and all we have to do is fill them in! Sometimes I do them, sometimes Mom does them, and sometimes we BOTH do them.     If you think you might like to join in the fun, just click the graphic above and go to 15andMeowing and find the LINK.   Easy – link up with us and fill in your OWN blanks!

Here are this week’s four sentences and Mom did two (BLUE WORDS) and I did two (ORANGE WORDS) !

1. I keep trying to catch a chipmunk, but they’re able to climb trees too fast for me!.

2. I don’t need anything, but I want everything!

3. I would want “Love Is Forever” to be etched onto my tombstone.

4. If I heard something go bump in the night, I’d roll over and go back to sleep.

Thanks to our co-hosts for another fun Friday of filling in!

Hugs, Teddy

  1. Keep trying Teddy. You may catch that chipmunk yet!
I never know what day it is lately. This morning I was convinced it was Saturday when I woke up.

  2. I see chipmunks running along the top of my fence in the backyard every day. I have solar lights on the fence and they jump them like hurdles. So cute. I hope you have a fun day outdoors Teddy.

    • It’s a safe bet……..Ted manages to find all the “springs” he’s lost during the day at night. Then it’s all on with the running around the house – fortunately we’re on the top floor and he’s on the middle floor so it’s not TOOOOOOOO noisy but he does accidentally run into things in his “spring play” !

  4. Mom and Dad have “the heart that has truly loved never forgets,” from a poem by Thomas Moore that was part of their wedding vows, on their headstone. Teddy, that grey cat that visits always tries to catch our chipmunks. We don’t think he has ever succeeded. This whole year has flown by even with the quarantine. Sending love to all. • Time is flying like NEVER before….Mom says when you’re old like she is, that’s not necessarily a “good” thing! I bet your visiting grey NEVER gets a chippy – they are WILY and FAST AS LIGHTNING!

      Hugs, Teddy
