SPARK on Monday

And another week begins……………….maybe a little thought for the week is in order? That was the idea that Annie McGuffy of McGuffy’s Reader had when she began the SPARK posts a few years ago – before her blog was hacked and she stopped posting. We hope she will be back soon – we miss her but in her honor many of us have been carrying the SPARKS torch on Mondays.   Just something to make us stop and think – prepare us for facing a new day.

I hear from so many that they are feeling many things just slipping away.    Missing friends, feeling isolated as we stay home more, wondering when we’ll see the light in the end of this tunnel.   I guess for me anyway it’s more important than ever to have HOPE.    I love this quote.   Really.

Being a positive person I pretty much have hope in my heart every day but more so now than EVER before.     Try to keep it alive in your heart too.

I know it’s not easy – believe me I really do – but I think it’s important enough to make it my “mantra” for the week…………….HOPE.

Make it a GOOD and hopeful week!    Love, Pam

  1. When you lose hope life loses meaning. We must all keep hope burning in our hearts.
My hope for the moment is that they will let me home again tomorrow.

  2. Yes, hope — the very best of the four-letter words, haha. We, too, feel hope each day and love your sparkle and good heart coming to us often. Love from us all. Sometimes a little bite of chocolate helps, too, haha.

    • Yes you’re right – it is life crushing to feel hopeless and we just have to avoid falling into that dark pit if we can – keeping our thoughts on the LIGHT side helps!

Love and Hugs, Pam and Mr. Boop

  3. I love this spark! I have several Christmas ornaments with the word HOPE on them as well as a hope angel in my purse. Have a great day! XO

  4. You always find the most inspirational Sparks. Where would we be without HOPE, especially in these days??? Mom says if you couple hope with faith and love, you can’t go wrong.

Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber

  5. I wish I would be here for class today but I will be headed out here very shortly for the day. I hope I see everyone tonight. XX

  6. Hope is a little hard to come by these days, but the alternative is totally not acceptable. We pray that once this stupid election is over, our government can get back to working toward getting this virus under control and helping those who are jobless with no more unemployment benefits available. Our country is hurting so badly. Thanks for a great Spark. Love to all.
