Know what else? I let my Mom do the WHOLE FILL-IN this week because I thought I’d give her a little treat! Aren’t I nice??? GO MOM GO!
1. Being a Cat Mom is a privilege.
2. I was so embarrassed when in the past I’ve gone to a party or get-together and have either been overdressed or underdressed – I almost always get it WRONG!
3. I can’t help but smile when Teddy comes to me when I call him – just like a dog!
4. Politics has gotten out of hand.
Good job Mom! I come to you when you call because I WANT to – and because even if you just want a hug I’m there to give it to you and vice versa………sorry I don’t ALWAYS do that when we’re outside but hey – there are distractions out there and it’s hard to focus on just YOU.
Maybe next week we can SHARE Fill-Ins……I like that best!!

That is nice that Teddy comes to you. Chris used to come when called but not so much anymore. I agree about politics getting out of hand. I even wrote about it on my other blog because a “friend” on Facebook announced she didn’t want to be friends with anybody who did not vote for her candidate. Unfortunately, that is not the exception these days.

I’m not sure I’d want to be “friends” with someone who was that crazy about “their” candidate. But then again people seem to be getting more passionate about politics these days which is precisely why I’m staying OUT of it!

You could be like me and just not go to parties, haha! Woodrow will come to us for the most part when we call him too. My father-in-law (who has never had cats) says he likes Woodrow the best because he’s very dog-like.

The only parties that I feel totally SURE about how to dress are outside ones…..pool parties, cookouts, etc. I’m reasonably sure I can assume no heels and pantyhose !!!! HAHAHAHA

Oh yes, I have often got the over or under dressing wrong.
I always remember the first time we flew to the US for a cruise. I think I must have been watching too many old movies! I wore a suit and ridiculously high heels. I thought I looked the bees knees until we got to the boarding gate and everyone was casually dressed.

Teddy is like a cat-dog. HAHAHA He stays by my leg when we walk and comes when he’s called. But he DOES have a mind of his own and can run after a squirrel out of nowhere !!

I had a very RUMBLY and WET and THUNDERY Friday – we had a really BAD storm come through with (fortunately) very little rain! Just a ton of noise and it went on and on and on. I am very scared of thunder!!

The clothes thing does not bother our Mom, she almost always dresses “differently”. We agree with the other 3! Except Jo Jo…we are not sure but we think she Is deaf (even the vet is not quite sure).

Teddy, your mom did a great job of filling in. We are pretty good about coming when called, especially as it usually means it is time for breakfast or dinner. Politics is a total nightmare, according to our mom. Our mom says she has also had those embarrassing over or under dressed moments. Bet every woman has. And we all totally agree with #1. I think those of us who come when called absolutely do it because of whatever “reward” we will get. In my case, it’s usually just being made to come in the house rather than getting a treat but that’s OK……Sometimes being called inside IS a treat when it’s HOT out there and COOL inside!!
