It’s Monday and time to start the week off with a SPARK! What exactly IS this Monday SPARK thing we do? Well, most of you know that Annie of McGuffy’s Reader – who started SPARKS – was hacked and has been on an extended break from blogging although her idea to spread some inspiration on Monday of every week goes on. Many of us who participated in her SPARKS Blog Hop and found value in sharing a thought on Monday continue doing that to hopefully give each other a “Monday boost” – perhaps something to think about to inspire us in the week ahead OR help us deal with something that’s on our mind. Why not join us by sharing something that SPARKS you? It might just start a spark in us too.
I have what might be called a SPARK with a smile this morning………………..thinking about aging – which I find that I do more than I thought I would when I was much younger. Can’t help it though – achy bones, wrinkles and gray hair – they mean little to me really in the scheme of things – after all I’m alive and there have been occasions when I wasn’t sure I would be much longer! Anyway I do enjoy this quote from George Bernard Shaw and I hope you do too – even if aging isn’t on your mind!
true!!!! so true! laughter is like a renovation of the body, but it’s for free ;O)

Pam, laughter Being the best medicine is no joke. I am happy that the kitties and Tom make be laugh everyday, because in the scheme of things not much that is going on in the world today can be laughed about. It was good talking to you yesterday. Love and hugs, Janet

I loved talking to you too my friend….sometimes it really is hard to laugh but when I feel like there’s nothing “now” to laugh about, I just think about something in the past that makes me laugh and it works very well – and I have a lot of “past laughs” to think about believe me! LOL

Hi Pix! I think laughing keeps us young……..people who are constantly full of gloom and doom might as well carry a pin around with them to burst everyone else’s “happy” balloons. Dragging everyone down with you is not the way to live a life. It isn’t always easy to find the “happy” but it sure is worth the effort to try and find it. Yep – we are kindred spirits kiddo!
