Friday! Time to fill in some blanks…………blanks? Yes – sentences with “holes” left for us to fill in with our thoughts and ideas………..courtesy of our two hosts for the fun Hop. If you click the badge above, you will go to one of our hosts – 15andmeowing – and you can link up and join in the “fill in the blanks” fun!! I thought I’d share today – let my Mom do a couple of sentences and I’ll do the other couple. Mom’s words are in RED and mine are in GREEN.
Here are this week’s sentences – two from each of our co-hosts:
1. I believe in the power of positive thinking.
2. I need to go Marie Kondo* on my toy box – it’s a mess – lots of old toys that are falling apart – most I inherited from Sammy so they are 18 years old!
3. It does no good to worry – after all – “it might not happen!”.
4. I find manipulating my Mom to be a walk in the park.
There you have it – the good, the bad, and the ugly from me and my Mom for this week. HAHAHA
We had some “good, bad, and ugly” this week in fact in the form of weather………………….yesterday we had THREE BAD cold and icy inches of snow/sleet and today all the UGLY is melting away which is GOOD! I bet I can go outside today for a walk finally. I can’t WAIT for Spring!
Have a great Friday everybody……………..
Mom ordered some stairs to put at the side of the bathroom cabinet – maybe she’s tired of lifting a 22 lb. cat up to the sink for a drink?
our toy box looks like a garbage bin too… but we are afraid that the mama takes action now after da Phenny ate the lid of da box…
LikeLike
UHOH…..Phenny……now that ate the lid of the box, the Mama can see how many toys you two have and it might mean she’ll toss some of the DEAD ones out! Of course maybe that will mean she’ll go to the trashure store for a “refill” – that wouldn’t be so bad right?

Ha ha ha — stairs to the sink! We hope that Pippin doesn’t take to drinking like that or we’re doomed 😀

YEah the stairs arrived yesterday and Dad put them together easy peasy……they are just the right size. Now all we have to do is TRAIN ME TO USE THEM! I’m so used to having Mom or Dad lift me up there! Mom puts me on the stairs and I’ll use them but have yet to do it myself without prompting. Maybe it will take some time???????

I think it will happen, Mom and Dad. Just keep doing your part of starting Teddy on his way. Admiral loved her stairs BUT she was a lot older.

Teddy is learning how to use the stairs. The UP part is easy now but the DOWN is a little scary for him. If I’m there encouraging him he’ll do it though! Time – it takes time!

Yeah Clowie – Mom thought it might help her back (!) if I could use the stairs to get up on the bathroom counter for my sink drinks. She seems to have a problem lifting my 22 lbs. eleventy-thousand-hundred times a day up to the counter and down again. How insulting is that???!!!
Hugs, Teddy

I sometimes think that insults are their way of showing love. The female biped can’t lift me at all and the male biped says he will only lift me in an emergency and he certainly doesn’t intend carrying me far!
LikeLike
Hey I never thought of that……even insults at least show someone CARES! Thanks for reminding me of that – when Mom and Dad call me “chubby” maybe that’s not so bad right? You are a LOT BIGGER than I am so lifting you might be a real chore. Maybe if you had a wagon you could be pulled in an emergency! Tee Hee

Teddy,
I believe in the power of positive thinking, too. Attitude makes a huge difference in how well life goes for ya. I’m more than ready for spring to arrive, as well. Our weather hasn’t been bad this week so I’m quite grateful for that. Have a good weekend!

Hello!!!! Yep – I’m a very positive cat AND I think I got that from my Mom. She tries to get Dad to think like that too but it’s hopeless. HAHAAH I suppose they balance each other that way???!! Have a great weekend too!

Yeah, well let’s see how good that stairs idea works… 😉 I think part of the whole idea of “sinking” for you Teddy is getting your Mom to pick you up! I am glad you are getting better weather and I hope you get your walk in today!

This morning for the first time, Ted used the stairs to get DOWN from the sink! He still wants me to put him UP there but I’m thinking – “can it be too far down the road before he does it all???”…….who knows. Time will tell. I’m taking my little victories as they come 🙂 !! We have total clouds today and will have showers here and there which have SADLY turned all the snow that was left into smushie, mushy, messy, muddy YUCK. Great. Hopefully one day the sun will return and dry this mess out. SPRING – WHERE ARE YOU????!!!!!!!

IT’s so funny……Teddy is now using the stairs BUT he still comes to get me so I can WATCH HIM use them. At least I’m not LIFTING – just WATCHING!

It sure is nice for Mom and Dad AND for me too! It’s extra exercise for me to pop up and down the “mini-staircase” – – our house is on three levels with lots of stairs anyway so I get exercise that way as well. Mom, me, and the laser red dot are best buddies on the house stairs…………
Happy weekend

Mom says we really need to do a Marie Kondo on our toy boxes too – a lot of our toys are pretty chewed and mangled, but we like them that way:)

It will be a “wrench” for us to get rid of some of the “antique” (!) toys from Sammy but it’s time. Especially stuff with feathers – they seem to disintegrate! Hope all of you are doing OK – we think of you every minute and send our love.

Oh Teddy, you are so funny. We luv your answer to nummer 4. MOL We have quite a few inherited toys too. Some are over 25 years old. MOL Hey, ifin we play with ’em, mommy says they must still be good. We have this one that we luv. It’s like 22 years old and the company’s no longer in business, but the nip is still amazin’. Mommy says it’s a real shame we can’t get any more. Big hugs

Most of the toys in the toy basket are Sammy’s – I’m not big on toys….I have two or three that I like and that’s about it. Same with nip – not that crazy about it either but once in a while I enjoy a nice roll around the carpet with my Yeeeow lemon!
