Here are this week’s sentences…………………this week I thought I’d let Mom have the honors……..nice of me right? Mom’s answers are RED.
1. Superbowl Sunday is just another day but I will pop in and out of the game in case there’s a funny commercial to watch!.
2. Most opera bores me. There are a few exceptions but very few – sorry opera fans!!!
3. If you have love, security and at least one cat you have everything. Tee Hee
4. My skill set could get me a job at a winery in the tasting room.

we agree… there are some operas what I love (the marksman by carl maria v. weber on the open air theatre at night) , but I’m not really a fan ;O)

I agree about opera. I love musicals but can’t get interested in opera. There are a few songs that I do like though, but no way could I sit through a production.

That’s precisely how I feel and I love musicals too but MOST opera makes me wish I’d brought my earmuffs…………….. 🙂

I would 1000000% agree with your #3 and OMCs…I should write a blog post about the gift birthday gift hubby’s brother gave him years AGO. 2 tickets to see The Magic Flute an opera. B O R I N G
We stayed til intermission because our seats were in the center of a row. Can’t write about it though as BIL might see it on the blog

MOL, The Female Human says that the best line she ever heard about opera is from the show Seinfeld when one of the characters said opera sounds to him like someone backing over a cat. Now let me be clear, she doesn’t find the idea of anyone backing over a cat funny!

We do love the commercials and watch them after the game on YouTube…….they are the BEST part of the Super Bowl (well maybe the Kitten and Puppy Bowl are cool too!).

The Friday Fill-ins are interesting…Mom agrees with #1 and #3…but she LOVES Opera (almost as much as Heavy Metal Rock and Roll!) and #4 – Mom is a Jack of all trades, master of none!

Thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins! And thank you for admitting that you are not a fan of opera, because I always feel so alone when admitting that. It takes great skill to sing opera, but it’s really not my cup of tea. I also feel like I’m in such a minority when I tell people that I don’t enjoy Broadway or musicals in that realm. That sort of thing just really, truly is not my cup of tea. Kitties, though, they are my cup of tea! Purrs!
