Time For Class!

Time for us to settle down and enjoy learning about some other part of the world – a place we may never have been – a place we’d LIKE to visit one day maybe.   Who knows?!

BUT – before we do that – hurry up and comment on this post so you MIGHT be the FIRST COMMENTER………you know you want a badge right?

If you are the first to comment on this blog this morning this is what you will get!

MOVE IT, MOVE IT, MOVE IT!

Don’t keep Sarge waiting!!!!    Alright – have you commented?  Good………now let’s get going with the REAL DEAL here which is taking a peek at this week’s Guest Teaser photo.

The whole idea is for you to examine the photo and make an educated (or uneducated as the case may be!) guess as to WHERE our Guest took this photo – what town/city/village and what state (if in USA) or country (if outside of USA) they captured this VIEW with their camera.   Got it?    Good because you have to tell us the whole deal to win the coveted badge for FIRST RIGHT GUESSER (or if you’re not first, a RIGHT GUESSER badge).

Before we show you the photo would you like to have a bit of a visit from our little ray of sunshine (or raincloud as the mood takes her) SuzieQ, the official Teaser Cheerleader to the STARS????????

I’m your Teaser cutie
You bet your big patootie
I cheer to keep you happy
Although the cheers are sappy
If you happen to be RIGHT
I’ll cheer with all my might!
If you happen to be wrong
I’ll sing you a SOB SONG
But one thing is for real
Winning a badge is a big deal
Now c’mon and take a peek!
Be our BIG geography geek!!!!

Thanks Suzie…………..I’m sure everyone wants to be our geography geek……and heaven knows we don’t want you to have to sing a sob song either!!!     Remember too class that our fabulous Suzie has been treating those who are WINNERS to a cheer including their names!   A personalized cheer from Suzie – now that’s incentive right???????????

Well maybe…….

OK – shall we ask our security guard/state trooper/forest ranger/crossing guard/hall monitor guy to bring in the photo he’s been watching over for a week?

Here’s this week’s photo Professor!

Where was this photo taken????????????????   Step right up and make your guess……………..if you happen to be the FIRST to guess correctly, you will win this:

If you are right but aren’t FIRST to be right you get this:

If you are WRONG – yes even if you are WRONG (!!) – you still get a badge……………a fabulous GREENIE:

For Teaser of July 11, 2017

SO, get to work class………………..and if you are REALLY BOLD, you will not use Google Image Search to find the photo somewhere in internet land – you will just try to figure it out by staring at the photo and seeing if you can DO IT !   OK???   Alright!

GOOD LUCK!

Now, to give you energy to get the job done, Miss Dingleberry has decided to have another PIZZA EXTRAVAGANZA – like we had before – AND this time you can have a piece of all of them or two or them or four of them or WHATEVER – no limit – just try not to throw it all up on the slides and swingsets out in the playground on recess OK????    Sarge would NOT be happy!

Alright you hooligans, single file and no grabby hands!!

MMM….bacon cheeseburger!

Meatball pizza with cheese

LOADED!

Ham and pineapple!

Veggie

Pepperoni!

AND A NICE FRUIT SMOOTHIE!!!!!

See you all in class tomorrow at the regular time………………..

  1. We’re all going to put our thinking caps on and fuel our brains with some pepperoni pizza. We think maybe North America. Probably not specific enough! Right? XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Lisbeth, Astrid, Calista Jo and Cooper Murphy

  2. Might be one of the old forts on the East coast of the US – don’t think it’s Ft Sumter (because of the lighthouse-looking thing) and it’s too close to land to be the ones off Florida. Hmm. Fort Monroe, off Virginia ?\

    • Hi Miss Mary! Thanks for taking a flying leap at the Teaser – tomorrow I’ll do my TELL ALL and we can see if you guessed right (or wrong!) but in either case – have some pizza courtesy of Miss Dingleberry! HAHA

  3. Is it Nepean Point hill in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, overlooking the Ottawa River?
Thanks for the yummy pizza, it’s too hot to cook in my house. The smoothie looks good too.
Suzy is in great form today.

I have NO idea but with a bit of chicanery it is Nepean Point, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada,

    • Well of course you’re the best looking Timmy! Load up on pizza too and of course you can take some back to the rest of the gang at home! So you used some chicanery to get the answer? We’ll have to wait and see if your chicanery worked at the Tell All tomorrow…………if you’re wrong you get a greenie so things aren’t hopeless! HAHAHA

  5. I’m going with Mystic, Connecticut (close to Maine) which was a big whaling port at one time. The mound looks like a whale’s grave and the statue is like water coming out of the blow hole. For all of those who “pile on” to get an “I was right” badge-you’re welcome.

    • Well Kismet you definitely sound pretty danged sure about this one – I wish you luck…….I also like the idea of that big mound being a whale’s grave and a statue sticking out his blow hole. I won’t be surprised if you get some “pilers on” either!

  6. Yup, We told you we’d be late…even if petcretary had sat down at the confuser as soon as she got up we would have been late…tee-hee!

And being Canadian, petcretary says that is a bird’s eye view of the Samuel de Champlain statue at Nepean Point, Ottawa, Canada. She’s even been there!! hip Hip-Hip-Hooray! Too bad we were not first, MOL! And the bridge in the corner is the Royal Alexandra Bridge.

Here is an interesting tidbit from Canada’s 150th birthday on July 1, 2017:
An old-fashioned picnic with a twist: the Royal Alexandra Bridge is the setting for a summery outdoor meal. The bridge will be closed to traffic and covered with sod, providing a lawn-like setting above the Ottawa River. The idea caught the imagination of the National Capital Region, with the event selling out in hours. ( from CBC News.)

    • Love the “tidbit” about the picnic plans….I bet that was way cool!!! If you are RIGHT about the Teaser you will get a RIGHT GUESSER badge tomorrow you know so make sure and come by because if you’re WRONG you still get a badge although it’s GREEN! HAAHHAHAHAHA

  7. This must be Canada with fall approaching. Look at the leaves starting to change colour. Personally we don’t really know but the high rise looks Canadian. I’m with Mr. Jack Freckles and say the Samuel de Champlain statue at Nepean Point, Ottawa, Canada.

  8. Sorry I’m late. Here, I have a note from my cable company saying that they decided I could do without internet service yesterday afternoon. It’s even signed by Ted Turner, if that means anything…

Wow, look at the moat around that prison! It’s YUGE! I’ll bet it’s not only infested with gators, but probably sharks, killer dolphins and even THE Kraken! And no escaping across the bridge, because it’s guarded by a mean old nasty troll! And no, I’m not referring to Ms. Dingleberry….

    • Another one of those windowless prisons….although I quite like Kismet’s idea that there’s a whale buried in that mound and the blow hole has a statue stuck in it. I kinda think Miss Dingleberry would make a mighty fine troll – if we had a bridge at school she’d be under it for sure.
