You decide on the blog "look" - I'm tired - wake me when it's over......
Needless to say, Mom and I spent the afternoon looking at more themes for my blog and frankly – I’m pooped! Actually, I think it’s down to THIS ONE (which I can still make some changes to) and my good old original blog look. This webmaster stuff is tiring!
I think I’m one of those guys who doesn’t want a lot of choices. I make up my mind quickly about stuff, then STICK with it intead of continuing to find options to worry about. Know what I mean? For instance choosing what to eat…..remember back when I first started my blog I talked about how Friskies no longer made my favorite-est ever food anymore? I had a terrible time with that. After 10 years of eating just one kind of food and whammo they quit making it – anyway, Mom and I tried bunches of things but once we found one I would eat – I’ve STUCK with it. Period. Don’t give me other stuff – just this.
From what I have seen (especially when I watch television!) humans like choices. Lots of ’em…..and they switch around all the time…..one day this – next day that. Hey….don’t get me wrong….I love my Mom and Dad and the few other humans I’ve managed to tolerate (tee hee:)) but humans are confusing.
But then………“They’re only human……………….”
Wake me when it’s over………….:)

My mom says this look reminds her of the 60’s, which apparently brings back some interesting memories for her.
Remember I said I’m not good at decorating, so I’ll just say that you’re stuck with me for a reader – no matter which theme you and your mom decide to use.

Hi Sundae! My Mom talks about the 60s a lot too…..musta been kinda interesting since our Moms BOTH have “interesting” memories! 🙂 Anyway, I guess I’m not so good at decorating either because I’ve decided Mom can do whatever she wants to do – as long as I can keep doing my blog – I like talking (have you noticed????). .I like how it was in the beginning…..(running away with my tail between my legs) this is pretty but is too “busy” behind the headline, is there anyway to incorporate the above pattern on your sidebars instead of at the top? It is super pretty and the colors are great, it just totally detracts from the title of your blog
….I didn’t like yesterdays at all.

Hi Miss Caren and Slinky Cody (tee hee)……for what it’s worth, I’m agreeing with you here (but don’t tell Mom I said that since SHE picked that theme out). Apparently she can’t move much of the set format around (so she says) but I really believe that she’s gonna go back to the original look (but that’s just between you and me….tomorrow morning I plan to do my famous “POUT” when she turns the computer over to me so I can do my blog….always works……). Hi Ho, Hi Ho, it’s back to the original I wanna go!

Sammy, you are absolutely correct. We human do like to make choices when really there is no need to do so. We feel more important I think that we “can” make all these choices, and again, like you say, to worry and fret about. Have a great day!

Hi Uncle Jerry….choices can be fun to make sometimes but humans seem to kind of “overthink” on them sometimes……Mom says to trust our instincts (which is something cats and dogs are great at). I’m not gonna worry about the blog anymore and just let Mom exercise her love of making a CHOICE!! LOL

We can totally commiserate since our mom vacillated re-designing her other blog The Boomer Muse. She finally had to have a consult with a marketing branding pro. Who knew we are a brand? Can you sum up in one sentence what this blog is about and who is it for? Sammy is your brand. Think of what qualities he evokes for his core brand i.e: humor, honesty etc. Hope this helps.
