Sunday Selfie Blog Hop Time!

Standard

Sunday!   Selfies!    Blog Hop!    That’s today alright……….and it’s hosted by our buddies at The Cat On My Head.   If you would like to add your selfie to the bunch, click the badge above and LINK UP with us.   The more the merrier.

Mom says she was “too busy” to follow me around and snap a NEW photo of me for today’s selfie.    HA!   Well, she has been doing a lot of stuff around here but “too busy” ???  She’s saying she didn’t have time for ME.    Should I be insulted?   I’m not.   Mom is busy.    Besides, once in a while it’s fun to do a FLASHBACK Selfie.    Let’s see what old photos we have from this same day in the past……….

This little gem is ME in April, 2017 which was two months after I joined my new family.    I quickly became a fan of the sinks.    I would ONLY drink water from a sink.    We have no idea why that was but it was.     I doubt I would FIT in a sink these days.    Maybe a HUGE sink but probably not the sinks in Mom and Dad’s bathroom which this is.     I do look young and tiny compared to today.     So, Mom decided to take a whack at jazzing this oldie up – here’s what she did:

Mom used the REDS Art Filter from Lunapic………Well after all I am an orange tabby – Red is CLOSE !!!

THEN we made a puzzle:

HAVE FUN!!!!!    Hugs to everyone………….Teddy

  1. That is a cute photo and art, Teddy. Eric used to sleep in and drink from the sink too, but as he grew he progressed to the bath. We used to leave a tap slowly trickling for the boys. Thanks for the puzzle.

  2. Oh, you adorable Teddy and I have a sinking feeling that no, you would not fit comfortably…maybe in the sink used for desalinating salt cod. They are a nice Teddy-size. Love on Sunday. We already join the blog hop on another blog. Darn.

    • Happy Sunday! Glad you are in the HOP wherever you HOP on board! I just go right to The Cat On My Head since they host it. Yes I know I kind of need a giant-sized sink these days BUT Mom has weaned me off the sink drinks and now I drink from an actual water bowl. YAY FOR ME. Happy Sunday!

  3. Fun picture of you sinking! So, you don’t sink anymore but you do drink out of the faucets, right? Your Mom’s Lunapic edit is very colorful! We had big storms last night and more coming today. We need them to have some rain in them!

    • No more sink drinks……..Mom says I am too big to be jumping off the counter and she’s right – I already have a little bit of an “issue” with my left hind leg. Now I drink water from actual BOWLS! I have one on each floor!

  4. You know what Teddy? I fancy I remember that you would only drink at a sink. Your mom told us! I wondered what would it be like what you wanted a drink in the night.

  5. That is a cute shot of you Teddy. As long as your mom has time to take you outside , right? When I clicked on the small photo, it doesn’t go to a puzzle. I can find it, but I figured you would want to know. Have a great day. XO

  6. We think the art effect is really cool, Teddy. And you were sure a little guy way back then just as your gingersnap friend, Cooper Murphy, was. Peeps are always busy, but we know you get lots of time from and with your mom and dad, and we know you will enjoy your outside today. Thanks for hopping every week. • I did have lots of time with my Mom and Dad Sunday – at least until they deserted me and went next door to the neighbors’ birthday party. I suppose they deserve to have some fun once in a while though!

  7. Teddy! If you had not told us this was a flashback, we never would have known! It is terrific as is your Art! We LOVE the red! We can’t wait to have some spare time to do puzzles. Mom had to go out of town to yesterday and was gone for 12 hours and we are still catching up! We hope you and your Mom and Dad have a marvellously happy day!

    • Oh I bet you missed your Mom while she was gone……I think the only different other than being twice this size now is my fur coloring has changed – it’s REDDER now that I’m older. When I was younger it was more light but I like my stripes STRONGER and now that I’m all grown up they are!

    • Now there’s a solution – BIGGER SINKS closer to the ground. It might be a little inconvenient for Mom in the kitchen and in the bathrooms but so what – who’s important around here??? ME!!!!!!! 🙂 🙂

  8. The red filter looks perfect and sooo suits your furs. None of ours are sink sitters oddly enough (although one of our skins is tiny (restroom sink) so I am glad they don’t try to get in it.

    Happy Sunday!

    • Our sinks in the house are all the same size – the kitchen one is big but I’ve never been on the kitchen counters – even when I was a baby they were just too high for me. Anyway, I do miss sink drinks but Mom makes sure I have plenty of water in bowls around so I’ve adjusted pretty well!

    • I miss my sink drinks but it was quite a high jump down from the sink – I had my kitty stairs to get up but refused to use them to get down – always jumped down. Not good for a 25 lb. kitty’s legs to jump down!

  9. Sweet! I have a spoiled cat almost the exact same shade of buff. He doesn’t have the white patch on his muzzle though. He is also particular about eating and drinking. He will only eat from dishes placed on the stairs, and drink from water that is in the living room near a heating vent. The water dish was initially put there to add humidity to the air in winter, but now it is where Hans gets his drinks. I think I feel a blog post coming on about his crazy peculiarities.

    • Ahhh….another ginger cat lover. Teddy is 25 lbs. of cuddling cat who keeps me and my husband on our toes. He looks a lot like his predecessor – we got him from the same shelter we adopted our previous cat from. They are all quirky in their own marvelous ways. Growing up we always had dogs but I had ALWAYS wanted a cat – they’ve now been in my life over 50 years and each has brought me more joy and fun than I probably deserve! LOL Seriously though – welcome to our blog.

      Hugs, Pam and Teddy
