SPARK on Monday

Standard

Time for a little “thought for the week”. Something to jumpstart our minds for the week ahead. We’ve had a lot of tough weeks this past year…………..but here we are.  Mondays are the start of a new week and why not start that week with a thought or message or reminder of the fact that Mondays set the tone for the week ahead – why not make it powerful.     That was the idea that Annie McGuffy of McGuffy’s Reader had when she began the SPARK posts a few years ago – before her blog was hacked and she stopped posting. We hope she will be back soon – we miss her but in her honor many of us have been carrying the SPARKS torch on Mondays.   Just something to make us stop and think – prepare us for facing a new day – and facing a holiday that will be here before you know it!

Some time soon we hope we will look back at what has been happening in our lives and wonder just how we did it…………faith?  Certainly.   Believing?   Certainly.    Staying strong?   Absolutely.   All of those thoughts went through my mind when I was looking for my SPARK this week and this is what I felt was “the one” to share:

No we will never surrender…………….we put one foot in front of the other and go forward.    Because we JUST DO.

Hope your week ahead is good.    Until we meet again next Monday!

Hugs, Pam

  1. How timely this Sparks was. I just sent an email to young friend who is a freshman in college during this trying year…of 2020.
Already she completed high school virtually and had prom virtually and h.s. graduation virtually
All of a sudden her roommate just packed up and moved in with someone down the hall. I didn’t know one could just move out of a dorm room down the hall with another gal. I told her to ‘enjoy her virtual’ roommate…lol
I told her to file it in her ‘lessons learned/life struggles’ and move on. Hugs Cecilia

    • Isn’t it great…..it’s absolutely like we have this REAL light at the end of a long and scary tunnel…..hopefully that light gets brighter and brighter as we move through the next weeks and months. Having HOPE is a most wonderful feeling…………….

Love and Hugs, Pam and The Boop too
