Hello Students.   This is my final time addressing you as your Substitute Teacher!

I must say it was nice coming out of the kitchen and into the school room for something other than serving you your lunch.   However, that IS where I excel – cooking and ordering the cafeteria staff around and watching them jump when I give orders!   The school room is the Professors’ territory and they WILL be back next week for Teaser time.

GOOD!

I think the contest I had was a FUN change for everyone.   We had eight glorious entries in the contest……………and what a bunch of INTERESTING recipes we got !!

Interesting? I thought they were SCARY!

ME TOO!!!! I was afraid my Mom was going to make one of those things for dinner!!

Thanks for filling in for the Professors Miss Dingleberry…….

It was interesting being here but I’ve been missed in the cafeteria…..the staff wasn’t crazy about my “fill-in” chef for some reason!

All of the recipes were fabulous and creative and disgusting all rolled into one.    But only ONE received the MOST VOTES and that was………….

CLOWIE!!!!   and her Bombe Surprise!

Here’s her WINNING recipe!

BOMBE SURPRISE BY CLOWIE
This is a surprisingly simple recipe.
Main Ingredients:
1 generous scoop of pond scum
1 portion of cat puke
1 ball of dung
Optional extras:
Dead slugs
Dead snails
Road kill
Rabbit poo
Part-eaten and discarded takeaway
Method:
Gather together your ingredients. For the dung ball you need to find a friendly dung beetle and persuade him to part with the ball of dung. He may be tempted to exchange it for some fresh dung!
Put the pond scum into a dish. If you have any of the optional extras, push those into the scum around the edge.
Place the portion of cat puke in the centre of the pond scum.
Gently push the dung ball into the cat puke.
Voila! You have made bombe surprise. Bon apetit!

Clowie – we have a special badge for you to hold near and dear to your heart – you can hang it in your room, post it all over town, make copies and hand them out with your Christmas cards this year, frame it and put it in a closet for safekeeping………..but we hope you will always remember winning Miss Dingleberry’s Recipe Contest !

Each of the other entrants get a badge for just being BRAVE enough to share a recipe for something disgusting with our viewers…………we hope you will be proud of your “ALMOST WON” badge and wear it in good health (and promise us you will not try MAKING any of your recipes!).

Madi, Kismet, Phenny, Csilla, Ellen, Evil Squirrel,  and Janet this is for you:

Our Cheer Team would like to honor all of you with what they do best!

Clowie, Clowie
You make us feel glowy!
Your Bombe Surprise
WON FIRST PRIZE!
Our other entries were good
The best in the ‘hood!
This contest was FUN
But now we must RUN
We congratulate you all
This contest was a ball!

Now, to finish class today, I’m going back to my role as your cafeteria supervisor and serving your lunch!

Step right up – this stuff will send you to the restroom in a hurry!

Gosh, can’t I get a break from bathroom duty????? Change the menus please!

They told me in the kitchen to try the BOMBE SURPRISE……..BURP…..I don’t feel so good!

Thanks for having fun with us for the contest!

  1. Thank you very much. You have made me a beautiful badge.

This contest was a lot of fun. I enjoyed reading all the recipes, but I’m still having trouble persuading the bipeds to let me try them out!

    • Clowie that’s because your bipeds don’t want to have to take you to the vet for “observation” or some disgusting stomach pump procedure!!!!!! CONCATULATIONS MY FRIEND! Your recipe ROCKED!

  2. Congrats to Clowie! My hordes of loyal supporters (All two of them) made a feverish attempt to stuff the ballot box, but unfortunately they all got sick on the way to the polls for some reason. As for that poor baby in the badge, I don’t know if that’s a reaction to the nasty baby food (It’ll look the same going out as it does coming in) or maybe he just watched Chef Snuggie’s “cooking” demonstration…

    • HA!!!! Yes all two of your loyal supporters offered to send me a $1 Million dollar check counter-signed by some Prince in Nigeria if I’d pump up the volume on your votes….but honesty outweighed greed (just this once!) and seems our dear Clowie’s disgusting recipe won fair and square! Thanks for playing along with this change in our normal (well…maybe not NORMAL but you know) weekly schedule.

    • HAHAHA……yes, this could become a fairly regular feature if we let Miss Dingleberry out of the cafeteria kitchen from time to time! CLowie’s BOMBE SURPRISE was certainly an INTERESTING recipe!

    • We were amazed at how disgustingly clever the recipes were – although we know we have the BEST BLOG AUDIENCE in the entire universe, who knew they had warped imaginations like WE have!!! It worked out well – wish more had participated but then it would have been HARDER to vote! HAHAHA

  4. The only problem I saw with Clowie’s recipe is the cat puke. You don’t have any cat puke until a cat eats the meal from the recipe and you can’t make the meal until you have cat puke. You’re stuck in a catch-22.

  5. That was a fun contest. We voted for Clowie, and we love the winner’s badge. But we are super proud of ours. You’ll see it next week on our blog. Great cheer and all the recipes were equally disgusting with Clowie’s being just a bit more so. • Concatulations for being one of the eight who met the challenge with great gusto (and a stomach pump!). It was tons of fun……….we will do it again!!!!

  6. We loved it. Tyebe was freakin’ out thinking we were going to feed her pond scum from now on. Mom caught Tyebe as she flew down the hall in a panic and i explained it was a joke. She has trouble seeing things as a joke…..she’s really not much fun unless you want to jump everywhere you go.

    • She’s learning quick from you Shoko! I’m sure you keep her on her toesies as she does you! In about 3 more months she will be a lot more fun…..right now everything is new, weird, and freaky to her but once she gets used to everything (including you!) she will settle in and be a very cool little sister creature!!!!
