Gosh - is winter over? Is it Spring? Huh?
What a day yesterday was! Wow…..yeah – WOW says it all. Seventy-four warm and sunny degrees and it’s only March 1st! We’ve had snow in some winters at this time and here we’re having a heatwave. I know some of my blog buddies have snow but NOT here (and I’m not going to complain).
Now I have to admit that this photo is from last fall and not TODAY (our mums are nowhere near blooming yet) but other than that it COULD have been today – I spent a lot of time right on my porch in the sunshine. I wonder if my winter coat is turning into my spring coat early this year? Mom brushes me a lot – so maybe all that hair I’ve seen is my winter fur coat????
Time to break out my visor……….

Hi Sundae…today’s a bit cooler than yesterday (OK – a LOT cooler!) so I’m occupying a sunny spot on the guest room bed for a snooze. Probably won’t be visiting outside (at least as much as yesterday!!).

Hi Nerissa…….it was a BEEEEEEEEEUTIFUL day – now today’s another story. It’s in the low 50s and rainy, windy, damp, yucky. No sun puddles today but I have very good memories of yesterday’s sun…..sigh.

Me wishes me were there and not here.
But it is getting warmer. The weather forcast is for much warmer weather and that means – MUD!!!!! The hairy slobbery sisters will get lots of baths and maybe even Kozmo if he gets too dirty. Me is hoping me gets to watch!

Hi Nellie! Watching your slobbery sisters and Kozmo get baths should be a hoot. You can sit and giggle at them while you enjoy being nice and sleek and clean and NOT needing a bath. I don’t care for mud myself. If I’m outside on my leash with Mom after a rain I take the LONG way around a puddle and if the ground feels squishy, I stop and look at Mom and she’ll pick me up. I’m not a wimp – oh no – I just like CLEAN feet!!!!!

Seventy-four was wonderful but “short-lived” Miss Caren and Cody…yep – sure was – today it’s back to winter….high 40s and RAIN RAIN RAIN. Oh well. Spring will be here before we know it (I hope….Mom promised).
