SPARK on Monday

Standard

Happy Monday!    Time for an inspirational thought – a little something to get us through another week.  Everyone is invited to participate by posting their OWN thoughts on their blogs – SPARKS inspire all of us!   “SPARKS” was started by Annie McGuffy of McGuffy’s Reader but ended when her blog was hacked some time ago.  It was meant to be a way to start out each week with with a meaningful thought – something that spoke to each of us and hopefully everyone else who read it.    Sometimes we need a little “spark” in our lives and these posts were meant to at least be a PART of that effort.   Please feel free to post a SPARK of your own on your blog and let everyone know you have…….we get energy from each other that way!

Spent my weekend thinking about how lucky I am to have positive people in my life.   I owe a LOT to them really.    I’m so grateful for them too because not only have they become my best friends, but they are (to quote a line from a song) “the wind beneath my wings” – and that’s what UPLIFTING is all about after all!

Treasure the friends who bring you joy and positive moments in your life.    Everyone needs that – whether they realize it or not!

Hugs and Happy Monday, Pam

  1. That is true and I do treasure them. Real life friends, and a few special friends made through blogging. You know who you are!

  2. I treasure mine and I am thankful each day for them. I have one in particular that is like a family member. Never has let me down nor I, she.

    • You are such a wonderful friend and I know I’m not speaking just for myself when I say, friends are HARDY and can “take it”…..whether it’s as a sounding board, a shoulder to cry on, an ear to hear complaints or just share a thought or two. What a different life we would have without friends. I don’t ever want to know!

  3. Agree. For a long time I’ve siad that the hardest decision in life is figuring out what to do when I grown up … must the most important decision one makes is the choices they make in people to be around. You saying for the spark fits! Have a good week, Pam!

    • Thanks Frank and hope your week is good as well….Friends are more than acquaintances – they hold us up as we hold them up – the proverbial two-way street. My friends are more like family.

    • You are too kind Suzanne…..I feel that way about reading your blog too – and in spite of the distance between us, I feel like I know you – like you’re one of my favorite next door neighbors! LOL
