On another and totally hilarious note, we had a big Oktoberfest “do” at Cat Scouts this weekend and one of my besties put together this wonderful JibJab video for the occasion.  It was just too funny NOT to share it…………….thank you to Raz at FriendsFureverCatBlog for doing this because it was truly the HIGHLIGHT of the day!   YES I’m in it…….Tee Hee

AND………before I forget to say it – THANK YOU to everyone who wished my Dad a Happy Birthday yesterday.  He didn’t have such a swell one…..he was two miles from our house on his way to a scheduled doctor’s visit (physical) when the car died.  Totally.   He got it off the road, tow truck took him to the dealer, now waiting to hear the BAD NEWS……some way to spend a birthday huh?   But thanks for the nice wishes ANYWAY!

  4. Well, it looks a lot like Dartmoor so I will say that for the minute, but a lot of Ireland looks very similar. We will have a think about it after dad has been home for his lunch.

    • Sorry about the car spoiling your dad’s birthday Sammy. I hope it can be fixed without too much expense.
      I can’t remember you ever saying your mum and dad have ever been to Devon so I am scrapping that guess. It looks like the British Isles though but I can’t decide between Ireland and Scotland. It will probably be Wales then! I biggified the picture as much as I could and think the shape of the houses is more typical of Scotland. Wild guess, near Loch Ness, maybe Drumnadrochit because I like that name!

    I think it’s in Europe, Sammy. It isn’t in a city, it’s a village nearby – but I don’t know which one!

    • Easy’s Mom is having her “hell-bow” surgery this morning at 9AM……….hopefully that will be the end of that for her!!! She said it was almost exactly one year today that she fell in that icy parking lot at the grocery store!

  17. What a bummer for your dad’s birthday. But on a happy note – what’s better than a NEW CAR for a birthday gift!? Mom got herself a new car last year for her birthday. She drove off the lot and said the word, “Happy birthday to me!”

  21. This one truly has me stumped. I think it is Fantasyland in Disneyland. That’s the only place that would have a bridge without a toll booth. I’m stumped because I don’t believe that such a bridge exists anywhere.

  23. Oh Sammy weez so sowry yous daddy’s Meowday was so eventful in a bad way. Weez hope it can all be fixed quickly and cheaply. And tell yous daddy to celebwate all mumff like we do. Surely one day of this mumff will be gweat. 🙂 Happy belated Meowday to yous daddy. Sendin’ purrayers.

    • We love that photo – in fact Mom had it made BIG and framed it and it’s in the “Vacation Holiday Hall” upstairs with photos from other trips Mom and Dad have taken!

  24. p.s. Mom had surgery on her birthday once. We think that beats Dad David’s day, but his still stinks. At least the rains had ended. Our mom always tries to look for the silver lining. She watched the Jib-Jab again for about the millionth time. She loves the part where Gracie is juggling the steins of beer and the end when Allie does the splits on the beer barrels.   25. Hi Sammy, we are so late again!! Like Flynn says that looks so much like Dartmoor in Devon or it could be the Lake District! But we don’t know that you have been there MOL. But we do know you’ve been to Scotland and Ireland! However, I will stick to my original thought and say Widecombe in the Moor, Devon, England, mainly because Mum used to live not far from there and misses it very much xoxoxox

  28. dood….we just now rememburred it bee twooz day & itz all reddy two morrow in sum places……cranbrereez…….we iz sorree ta heer yur dad hada crap N ola kinda day…may bee if him wented out N buyed like a 2016 Lamborghini, him wood knot feel sew bad…what cha think !!! Oh Sammy i am so late it is almost next Tuesday..but to me that looks like a bridge too far ..or a bridge over troubled waters…maybe even the bridges of Maddison county..goodness me..it is awful pretty :)..Bridge over the river Kwai..we are so sorry Dad’s birthday got all bent out of shape..and i myself did too at the vets with Doc…Fozziedad can take him next week..those meet and greets in the waiting room are to much for this back :)..i am glad Dad got spoilt by Mum and how sweet is Miss Laura 🙂 she is a one in a million 🙂 ..i hope the car is not terminally injured too..boy what a day! and you are most welcome for the card..we know your Dad loves his flying machines 🙂 much loves Fozziemum xxx
