You know I’m a Cat Scout – and a Cat Scout who is now at the TIPPITY TOP of the ranks within the organization……………yep – I’m a SABERTOOTH (grrrrrrrrowwwwwl).

It’s tons of fun……….we do all kinds of great stuff and I’ve met some of the COOLEST cats in the universe there. We have a campfire where we all meet, we have our own Troop Headquarters (I’m the Troop Leader of the Wildcats!), we have our own Patrol Dens – I even have a Travel Service I operate there – we’ve been on lots of fun trips and are going to visit Santa on the 20th to help out in the toy workshop and feed the reindeer. All of these fun things would NOT be possible if our Denmaster, Karen Nichols, hadn’t created Cat Scouts.

A while back, she ran with a suggestion that was made to thank our busy secretaries/assistants/helpers/typists/aka MOMS and DADS – whoever it is who gets us to Scouts, posts for us, does all the photoshopping we need – all the hard work. The suggestion was “how about a Certificate of Appreciation for those hard-working humans in our lives??”………………she put together a swell certificate and we sent our addresses in and VOILA…….received the certificate.
My two “besties”, Scouts Raz from Friends Furever blog and Scout Gracie from s Goodness Gracie blog thought it might be fun if we did a collage together – showing our Moms with their certificates, along with us…….so that’s what we did! What do you think?
We did it in the form of a “THANKS DENMASTER” collage…………….again, if not for her, we wouldn’t be having all this fun! In case you come by my blog Denmaster, this thanks comes from all three of our furry little hearts AND our humans as well………………you rock…………..and so does Scouts!!

We sure have a lot of fun at Scouts! Allie and were so happy to give our Mom that pawsome certificate because she works so hard for us (especially during Quests or the Jamboree)

fortunately we could fix that problem, we will get visitors next week and that would be a disaster without a toilet. not sure if my grandparents are brave enough to use my back yard :O)

So much fun in scouts and really have so much fun. The best part is sharing it with you and Raz my two top best friends! Congratulations on achieving the rank of Sabbertooth Tiger! Not an easy badge to achieve, many hours of working on those merit badges which we earn when we are not having fun around the campfire, parties, or activities in our dens. Karen does such a fantastic job of keeping things moving there would be no scouts without her. And our moms or dads that see we get to scouts and work so hard with us to help us there. Thanks all!!!

Hi Gracie!!! It was fun to do a collage together with my “besties”. The three of us do a lot for Scouts and get a lot FROM Scouts too. It was nice that the Moms and Dads got certificates of appreciation since, after all, if not for them we wouldn’t be having a blast…….HAHAHA. Congrats to you too Gracie for becoming a Sabertooth – just think – all those Scouts and only FIVE of us Sabertooth (teeth?). I’m honored.

Thanks Cupcake!!! Mom, and my two Scout buddies Moms do a lot to keep Scouts exciting for EVERYONE……I think there are around 200 Scouts total now – over half of those are in my Troop that I started – the Wildcats! We wanted to thank the Denmaster who started Scouts for giving us so much fun……but you’re right – it is a lot of work for our Moms so they deserved their certificates of appreciation!!

Well, our Moms just help US but Karen Nichols started Cat Scouts so if not for her, we’d not have Scouts!! My Mom, Raz’s Mom and Gracie’s Mom are busy because we three all started “groups” at Scouts and that takes extra time. When I joined up I started my own TROOP (the Wildcats) so it seems that just naturally meant I would be busy there for that reason. Anyone can start a Group or a Troop – just have to talk to Denmaster about it!!! It sure is fun though isn’t it? I’m glad your Sammy joined up – seems there’s always SOMETHING going on!

Thanks Miss Ann…..Cat Scouts is a pretty darn fun organization and if not for my Mom, I wouldn’t be where I am today! Lots of photoshopping and time involved…..my besties Raz and Gracie have Moms who help them a whole lot too and we thought we’d do a special “THANKS DENMASTER” collage showing our Moms with their certificates. Every Scout could ask for a certificate for their “assistant” so many Moms got them…….

Raz is doing a great big Scouts slideshow with everybody who wants to pawticipate including some of the Patrol activities for us all to give to Denmaster for the holidays to thank her. The three of us just thought it might be fun to do a “Mom/Certificate/Scout Kitty” collage separately from that………..turned out pretty swell didn’t it???
