Meownday

Happy first day of a new week all! It was a big weekend for yours truly. I got my own page on Facebook, and my pawrents had their wedding anniversary yesterday. The rest of the week wasn’t nearly as exciting but at my age, it doesn’t take much to be excited….HAHAHA

I just found out that today is Gris Gris birthday over at Cat Wisdom 101 so don’t forget to whip over there and give him a birthday Howdy-Do. I’ll be heading over there in a bit myself. Those of you who were at my camping trip last year might remember that Gris Gris brother Odin brought “snacks” to have round the campfire our last night on the beach – a big cage full of bugs! They were delish. Gris Gris wasn’t there but Odin did a fine job of representing his brothers there.

You know Halloween isn’t far off and we’re already starting to think about “what are we gonna do this year???”………………last year we had a pumpkin decorating contest. This year – who knows!!

Mollie turned me into a MONSTER for Halloween last year!

Also I found out that Meow Like a Pirate Day is September 19th in Blogville so I need to get Mom to work on figuring out how to “do me up” for that occasion on my blog to celebrate that day. That will be fun – we didn’t make it last year but I don’t want to miss out this year.

Lots of us have noticed that so many of our friends lately have gone over the Bridge – so there were a lot of posts the past few days remembering our friends who are no longer with us – which leads me to say that the past several days I’ve been VERY worried about my cousin Toby. Toby is my Auntie Carol’s shih Tzu and a real super guy all around. He was VERY sick and even his V.E.T. couldn’t figure out what was wrong with him even after tons of tests. My Mom, Dad and Auntie Carol were very worried that Toby wouldn’t make it but today he’s a LOT better and eating and while he’s not 100% well, he’s made BIG steps forward so I’m happy. Nobody should have to head to the Bridge before their time……that’s for sure!

Cousin Toby….The Pirate (sort of)….he actually had an eye infection last year and had to wear a patch!

So let’s hope this is a great week for everyone – – – those who are sick I hope you feel better – and everyone else – STAY HEALTHY! We have BIG work to do – we have humans who depend on us to take care of them. It’s a BIG JOB!!!!!!

    It sure does suck Sammy..don’t think I will ever get on top of all the bloggies…:(…..so glad that mum and dads anniversary dinner was delish..sorry bout the lack of leftovers..bit rough! sugar on top ..woah feeling better already 🙂

Guess what….Mom made up for being thoughtless in not bringing leftovers home from their anniversary dinner last week by having some friends over yesterday for snacks and wine – – – they had SHRIMP and guess who got some???
