SPARK on Monday

Standard

Monday is here and so is another month.    November is a wonderful month – it’s “Pre-Christmas”, it’s “Full On Fall”, and most importantly it’s the month we set aside a day to be THANKFUL for all we have.

SPARKS is a Monday tradition – how did it start and what IS IT?  “SPARKS” was started by Annie McGuffy of McGuffy’s Reader but ended when her blog was hacked some time ago.  It was meant to be a way to start out each week with with a meaningful thought – something that spoke to each of us and hopefully everyone else who read it.   Although Annie isn’t currently blogging, a lot of us who enjoyed her SPARKS decided to keep posting SPARKS of our own.   Why?   Because sometimes we need a little “spark” in our lives and these posts were meant to at least be a PART of that effort.   Please feel free to post your own SPARK on your blog and let everyone know you have…….we get energy from each other that way!

I really do love Thanksgiving – I am thankful every day of the year for what I have and who I am and WHERE I am…………….but on Thanksgiving Day I think a lot about it more than any other day.    It’s always ALWAYS a “happy” day for me.   Since I was a kid.   I’m sure back then (oh so many years ago!) I was thankful that it was almost time for Santa Claus to come visit, and almost time for presents and snowman building but these days I am truly – and I mean this – THANKFUL TO BE ALIVE.    That my friends is the reason that I am HAPPY NOW.

Hugs, Pam

    • You are too kind……….I think we all help each other and maybe more than we know – just feeling the love around the blogosphere is uplifting………we have so much to be thankful for in a world that often feels cold and uncaring – WE SEE WHAT WE WANT TO SEE……………

  2. I am very thankful today because the MRI showed no change in THE THING in my brain. The neurology team are now 100% sure it is not cancer, so hopefully no more brain scans. They think it is a congenital defect that was only found because of the scans after the TIAs.

    • I’m SUPER HAPPY “the thing” isn’t larger – yep – I also think you’re right that it’s always been there but nobody knew since you didn’t have your head scanned EVER. Just happy you are OK and I know it’s a relief to have that news. HUGS HUGS and more HUGS.

We, too, are so thankful for so many wonderful things, uncountable, really, but let’s start with you, Teddy, and your mama and papa, and thankfulness for Cupcake’s news, and many friendships and Monday’s spark, and autumn’s beauty and yes, that we are here and will do our best to be kind while we are…

  5. Another great Spark. We love Thanksgiving too because we usually have a big family gathering. We learned tonight that our human brother and family are going to try to make it here for either Thanksgiving or Christmas – we haven’t seen them in a very long time!!!!
