SPARK on Monday

Standard

It’s Monday again and you know what that means right?   Time for a SPARK – a message that will get you through the week or at the very least give you something to think about!  What exactly IS this Monday SPARK thing we do?   Well, most of you know that Annie of McGuffy’s Reader – who started SPARKS – was hacked and has been on an extended break from blogging although her idea to spread some inspiration on Monday of every week goes on.   Many of us who participated in her SPARKS Blog Hop and found value in sharing a thought on Monday continue doing that to hopefully give each other a “Monday boost” – perhaps something to think about to inspire us in the week ahead OR help us deal with something that’s on our mind.    Why not join us by sharing something that SPARKS you?   It might just start a spark in us too.

I found this quote from Albert Einstein by accident…………….but maybe it wasn’t such an accident after all?   Maybe I needed to get the message?   Maybe you do too?

I actually have HEARD this quote before but had no idea it was by Albert Einstein.    He was a VERY smart man!     Have a super week……………….keep on moving……………………I will too.

Hugs, Pam,

  1. Yes, very true, and with life’s oft bumpy or detoured pathways, you have to keep moving along…or you’ll get stuck in all the yucky mire.

And I did an ooopsie…I totally forgot to post in my blog about the double firstie win and the unique Twin firstie that I shared with Timmy and Dad Pete. Muast have stopped too long in a snag on my path…MOL!

I was on call yesterday, and it so distracted me and I tried to put my post together early…on the frightful new blogger…sheesh. I hate when they mess with what isn’t a bad thing.

I sent you an email, too…

  2. Well, around here, with the news being what it is, mama subscribed to Poem a Day and reads it to papa and me each morning and right now the organization is concentrating on Black poets, so we are inspired by each new poem, although some are sadder, brighter, uplifting, angry than others. But it is a joy to read new poets about whom we knew nothing. Mama also gave papa a subscription to The Cloud Society and each morning we see a new and inspiring cloud, photographed by cloud lovers all over the world. But the truth is, mama and papa are inspired each morning by ME, walking on their heads to get them to breakfast….

    • LouLou I think that’s a good way to spark inspiration…..walking on heads definitely gets attention and no doubt inspires your Mama and Papa to come up with ways to PREVENT your “head walking” ! A Poem A Day is a fun thing to subscribe to. We used to subscribe – now my Mom just writes a poem a day. Then she makes it her screensaver for the day………!

      Happy Monday

  3. I haven’t heard that quote before but it is very true.
We have had massive thunderstorms this morning so have had everything turned off in case of power surges. I can still hear it in the distance but at least it is moving away. I would think there has been flash floods as the rain was torrential. Poor Ivor meticulously watered all the garden last night too.

      • I spoke to soon! about 1/4 hour later it started to come back so I turned everything off again. Five minutes later there was an almighty flash and crash of thunder and the power went. It must have been right overhead. Luckily the power is back now so they must have found the fault fairly quickly. It is still 90% humidity and 80F so there is probably more on the way.

        • YIPES! I’m glad that the power came back and the fault was found. Not fun! We have a super hot day again today – yesterday was miserable mostly because there was no breeze and 101 degrees with heat index figured in. We were BREATHLESS!

  4. That is a great spark and so true. We bought bikes about 5 years ago and I discovered I can no longer ride one. 😦 Have a great day! XO

  5. Oh no, our comment got eaten!!! Mom hasn’t been on a bicycle in a very long time (probably a very good thing too). But she does try to keep going and going.
