Very sad…..but she really had so many serious health problems and it was amazing she lasted this long really…..bless her Mom and vet, Dr. Dave, for helping her carry on a bit longer.

Hi Gracie! We talk about this from time to time but it does seem that in the winter we lose so many of our friends…..the cold makes them long for the forever sun of Summerland/The Bridge…..and THAT makes me happy for them.

Oh Sammy, this was so sweet. Mom just keeps starting and stopping crying whenever she reads another post or note about Nylablue. We knew her time had come and that going to Summerland was the best thing, but we are all so heartbroken. She was a gentle soul with a huge purrsonality and great sense of humor. My Mom has had some teary moments too……….Nylablue was probably one of the MOST loyal followers I’ve ever had all the years I’ve blogged……and she always had thoughtful and sweet comments too – she really did read my blog first before commenting. I appreciated that……she never pulled any punches either – she told us how it was for her – honestly…..and I think she and Sherri Ellen were PERFECTLY suited for one another. What an outpouring of sentiment in blogdom for her these past couple of days in particular.

That’s true Flynn…..my Mom says of course she’ll be happy one day that I’m gone but when she thinks of me it will be as a cat that’s free, healthy and young again…..and of course watching over her!

Dearest Sammy & Pam you are so right that what I am going thru is natural & to be expected. It all feels like a bad dream that I can not wake up from. I will go pick up her nameplate for her ashbox today. I have more cleaning to do & that helps me focus on something other than the sadness.
I have felt SO MUXH love & support here it is overwhelming & soothing.
Nylablue will live on forever I feel. she will in my heart with Mingflower.
