ROAR!!!

What’s that sound????    Why it’s the sound of a big, brave, LION!!!    That’s right – guess who was promoted last Saturday night at Cat Scouts to a LION rank????   Go on – guess – I dare you……no I double-dog dare you!!!

I was surprised…………….I had hoped some months ago at the LAST promotion ceremony that I would be found worthy of Lion status but alas I was not promoted then………….so I worked my buns off trying to pawticipate and have fun activities for my Troop and I guess all my effort paid off.   There were other cats who were promoted and I congratulated all of them at the ceremony – all of us were super excited believe me.   I’ll try not to mention my LION status over and over and over even if I’m super excited.  And I ain’t LION (hahahaha)!!

Now, serious stuff…………….this is your official reminder about tomorrow’s Tuesday Teaser………..

Tomorrow’s Teaser Will Be Posted

at a RANDOM Time (not 6AM EST)!!!  

That ought to shake things up well in the Tuesday Teaser realm don’t you think?   Who knows when it will hit the airwaves….only my Mom….and when it does of course we’ll be ready for you to guess………..the usual badges will be awarded and since tomorrow’s Teaser is actually one of MY photos, I won’t be giving myself that brand new cool badge that my Guest Teasers are getting now!   I presented this to Uncle Leo last week for his Alicante, Spain photo but I don’t think he’s even SEEN it yet!

If it turns out that you HATE not knowing when the Teaser will be posted we’ll go back to the usual…………but almost everyone who responded to my poll about Teaser timing said “RANDOM” !!

I’ll see you tomorrow at some RANDOM time then………….tee hee

    • Hadn’t thought of that but you’re right…….imagine all the noise we’d be making in a neighborhood where lots of cats lived….yikes…..good thing we mostly do the soft purr!!!!

    • Hi Sparkle…..yes, I’m totally on the moon about it – There are several of us in the Lion rank now at Scouts. Other promotions that night were from Bobcat to Cougar rank…..and some Tenderpaws to Bobcat…….there’s one more rank to aspire to – the highest possible rank……it’s “SABERTOOTH”…..sounds scary huh???

    • Thanks so much Charles…..I really was thrilled and surprised. I just am happy to be the Troop Leader for such a pawsome group of Scouts in Wildcats……….Denmaster gave us our own “Lion’s Den” too – I saw that this morning!!! I’m glad you’re in Scouts Charles – you’re a GOOD friend and a great Scout.

    • HAHA….I kinda like that…..Kimba Kimmell….has a nice RING to it huh? I found out this morning when I visited the Scouts site that there’s now a special “room” for we Lions….so we now have a Lion’s Den!

  18. Sammy, We are all so proud of you for reaching the rank of Lion. Mau has told us how hard you have been working and how many great activities you have been having for the Scouts. When Denmaster announced there would be new Lions, he had his paws crossed that you would be one of them. We are super glad your mom posted that photo of you in the lion suit again. It is one of our favorites. Since we are always late to the Teaser, we figure whatever time it posts will work for us. Concatulations again. You are a fine and exemplary Scout.     • Oh how sweet you are to say all those nice things……Cat Scouts is quite an amazing place especially now that we can all be there without getting tossed off (!!)….but I think we’re encouraged to do good deeds and have fun all rolled into one which is the true Scout way. I had no idea I was being promoted but I have been working hard to try and keep Scouts a FUN place to come to………..I think the Wildcats are a fabulous group of Scouts and we can help Scouts grow bigger and stronger every day. But the MAIN reason I’m there is to have fun – and I do! Tomorrow’s Teaser being at a surprise time will be interesting……I can’t wait!!!!!

    • Winter I have no doubt you’ll be a Bobcat before you know it! It’s exciting at those ceremonies – you’ll find that out one of these days. Thanks for the ROAR – there’s only one higher rank in Cat Scouts – “SABERTOOTH”!!!! WOW!!!

  34. Whoa, Sammy! You are the KING of Beasts all right! Congratulations, Pal–no one could deserve it more! You look FANTASTIC as a LION. Woo-hoo!

    The Human has let me visit Cat Scouts a little bit in the past couple weeks. I am trying to nudge her into making it a habit. I’m not quiiiiiiiiite there yet, but working on it! We made birfday cards for the service project this week. I mean, *I* made them but yeah, the Human helped. Looking forward to the Teaser, even though the Human said I shouldn’t cheat. Phffft.

    • Thanks Spitty! I saw that you had posted in the Service Projects area – Now we have TWO places we can send cards to – I think it’s a really cool thing to do too! I’ve been trying to remember to visit your blog more – shame on me but I forget to visit the ones that I don’t get email notifications of new postings for……EEEEEEEK. Good luck on the Teaser today!
