Hi Everybody………..yes indeed – with the excitement of Christmas behind us, we focus FORWARD and that means New Year’s Eve AND the next morning (drum roll please), my birthday! I hope you haven’t forgotten to include stopping by here on your way home from your New Year’s Eve celebrations wherever it is that you’re going……..remember I promised to have a breakfast buffet, and even plenty of blankets, beds, and snuggly spots in case all you wanna do is curl up and recover from a night of pawtying!
January 1, 2014……and I’ll be 14 !
I am going to have entertainment though for those of you who don’t want to stop partying from New Year’s Eve…….I’ve hired a DJ…….a local “cool cat”……and he’ll be there spinning some tunes for those of you who wanna dance or just listen to music.
There will be a bar area where you can get whatever your heart desires…..but those of you who might have “indulged” too much at your New Years’ Eve pawty can have a cattucchino OR you may want to have something with a little zip like a niptini (as long as you won’t be driving of course).
Spots to curl up and relax……….or snooze……….absolutely! You know me – I’m the KING of Naps so I’ll make sure there’s a nice spot for you if that’s what you need before you go home to your humans. You don’t want big bags under your eyes after a night of pawtying right?
Anyway, I hope you’ll plan to be here…………..meanwhile, it’s Friday – so pardon me if I disappear now…….I think my Mom’s got housecleaning in mind. I’ve got to go guard my pile of toys – I’d hate for something I got from Santa Paws to get sucked up into THE MONSTER MACHINE!

Sammy, we are resting up now so we will be fresh for your birthday pawty. The humans will go out to dinner, but be home and in bed well before midnight, so we will have lots more time to rest. YAY! My parents don’t go anywhere on NYE either…they let the young folk go out there and pawty hearty. They’ll be home, having a nice dinner and a bottle of bubbly then a QUIET night. Which means the next morning I can wake up the neighborhood with my pawty!

Oh Cupcake I just bet you’d look stunning in stilettos although I’ve seen pictures of humans falling OFF those shoes and breaking ankles and stuff and if you did that, you would no longer be able to bowl. Merry Christmas a little belatedly, Sammy my Good ManCat! The Human has finally returned and FINALLY agreed to help me visit my furiends before I don’t have any anymore! The Human is having an NYE pawty here, so would you mind if I came over a little early? I’d really rather not deal with the extra Humans that are bound to be hanging around for hours acting stupid (not that they’ll all get drunk or anything–they’re all too old for that–it’s just that Humans can’t help acting stoopid, right)?

King Spitty!! Everybody was quite impressed by that Secret Paws package you and your Human sent me…..nobody more impressed then me and my Mom of course! Please DO come over early – you’re most welcome to stay here where it will be QUIET with no NYE pawty happening…my parents are ancient so they’re sound asleep (and in Dad’s case snoring) by 10PM at the very latest on ANY night including NYE. It will be nice and quiet……trust me on that!
