It’s time for the BIG B

Ah yes…….my favorite day of the week (although Tuesdays are pretty swell too…..oh and Wednesdays…….and maybe Fridays…….and don’t forget Sundays) – OK OK I’m happy every day of the week but get bacon on Saturday so there!

So far I haven’t had to resort to trickery to get my bacon fix on Saturday but I’m prepared should that become necessary:

Don’t ask me who made up this panda rule but I like it……and I’d even wear this ridiculous suit if I had to!

Today’s treat is bacon with pancakes – traditional pancakes – not the ones where you “embed” the bacon in the pancake (although those are yummers) – this is the actual FULL SIZED pancake…….and where there’s pancakes, there’s butter and syrup…….and where there’s butter, there be ME!   HAHAHA

I wouldn’t have it all over my face of course…..I’m much too NEAT!

I may be hard of hearing but I can definitely hear it when Mom takes the cover off the glass butter dish…………..I’ve been known to hustle over to where she is and give her THE LOOK.    It works (of course).

But that’s another subject…..today is all about BACON.

OK Mom….you have two slices of bacon with your pancakes…..do you really NEED two?

Don’t know if I’ve told you all this before but I loved bacon from the moment I smelled it as a wee boy 16 years ago……………..

Do I smell bacon????????

We are a bacon family.   My Mom’s SECOND favorite sammmich is a BLT……….her FIRST favorite is a bacon cheeseburger!   See?   I get the baconbug through my genes.  I’m definitely Mama’s son!    HAHAHA

YOU might not be a bacon fan but I just bet there’s something you can’t resist when you smell it – come on – confess!   You know you wanna!   What aroma in the kitchen can you absolutely NOT RESIST?????
