Sailing the seven seas with his pirate crew

Searching for treasure and captives too 

Stealing their gold and sinking their ships

Stealing the heart of some innocent Miss

Pirates will pillage and pirates will plunder

Wreaking havoc and woe casting feelings asunder

The life of a pirate is not for the shy

Captain Savage Sam has the swagger, he is quite a guy

  When ‘ere you are sailing keep an eye to the sea

For Savage Sam’s ship might be sailing towards Ye !!

          • Weez alweady joined da cat blogospere a while ago, weez just don’t always unnewstand ifin da fings they post awe fur evewypawdy or just a foo. But we add ow linky there evewyday. Me even wrote them a kupple of times to see ifin they wuld add ow names to da Meowday calendar, but weez not a big nuff blog yet me guesses. 🙂 Dat’s okay tho’, mommy celebwates nuff fur eevewypawdy. 🙂 Weez liked it, just didn’t know what to do. Weez know nuuffin’ ’bout piwates. MOL

          • Hi Dezi! Mo – who is the one who takes care of all the “work” at the CB is really good about adding things and posting things so I’m surprised he hasn’t added your meowdays to the calendar. It’s not important what size blog you are……..believe me……….I joined the CB when I only had a few followers. You did GREAT for Pirate Day. Everybody had a super good time with it……….!!!

    • Thanks Shoko and Kali! I had fun picking out an appropriate and suitably dashing pirate costume for today…….it was a lot of fun and everybody at Scouts AND in the blogosphere seems to have joined in!!!!!

    • Speedy’s competition did look like it was more than a little “one-sided” for Sushi. Makes you wonder about that doesn’t it? Anyway, it was fun and I think I got a couple of votes but it was obvious from the start that Sushi was the winner!

    • It was a truly GRAND Pirate Day – everybody had a marvelous time and so many OUTSTANDING costumes!!!!! That was definitely one of the best and most fun celebrations we’ve had at Scouts!

    • Indeed Cap’n Flynn……sailing the high seas yesterday with so many of us pirates roamin’ about was quite interesting……yet there was booty-a-plenty to be had and no fights among the crews – it was a grand Pirate Day!!!

    • Oh what a grand Pirate Day we all had! I was so happy our ships passed so we could salute and toss a kiss overboard for each other!!! You looked grand on the deck of your ship with Ninja by your side!
