Pre-Tease Day

That’s how I think of Mondays……….”the day before the Teaser”……….so what’s that tell you?  It tells you that I do love Teaser Tuesday – that’s what!   I’ve already got the photo picked out.   Not a guest Teaser this week – one from my Mom and Dads photo albums.

Mom says someone asked her yesterday what her favorite thing about writing my blog was……….she said MOST people seem to enjoy the Teaser best of all…………I hope so.  It is fun to try and fool people – whether it be the Teaser or a super funny joke with a surprise punch line, or telling a story and pulling people in then WHAMMO telling them “just kidding” !!!    Teasing……everybody enjoys it and you just have to be careful not to tease too much.  I think once a week is just right don’t you?

How am I???    Well I pretty much slept the day away yesterday.   Mom has told you already that I’m sleeping a whole lot and I am.   When I’m awake I follow Mom around like her shadow……….in fact, Mom often sings “Me And My Shadow” when I do that.

Back to business – Here’s what I’d like to ask you and would appreciate you sounding off about.  I’m going to have a Halloween Party again this year………..but I have TWO questions.  One is about the KIND of party, another is the type of contest, and lastly what day you’d like me to have it.  OK?  Ready?   Three separate polls and I’d like you to vote PURLEASE!   This is just a one day poll so vote now.

    • Hi Dezi! Thanks to you and your Mom for the lovely card for my Mom and Dad. It was VERY sweet of you to do that………I have always been a pretty independent guy until now – I guess because Mom is giving me that yogurt every morning I keep hoping if I follow her around closely she might give me EXTRA yogurt????!!!! HAHAHA

David and I are so lucky that we DID find each other our “second time around” – we were thinking this morning that if we’d met that “first time around” we would be celebrating 47 years together today instead of 24! HAHAHAHA We’d probably both be raving lunatics too (just kidding). Sending you big thanks and hugs for the lovely words…………and also sending you big HUGS in response to your own post this morning – some days it just feels RIGHT to want to escape!

    • Thanks Austin! Mom and Dad look happy in that photo don’t they? About two hours after that photo was taken they were on a plane headed to Rome! I have to admit I’ve got Mom just a bit concerned since I’ve been on these pills – she’s almost tripping over me these days because I won’t let her out of my sight……actually I’m waiting for her to “land” so I can pop up on her lap…HAHAHA

    • That’s a nice thought about why two people stay together……these days people seem to have more SHORT-TERM relationships than long-term. Mom and Dad are having a nice fun day together which makes ME happy too!!!! Come visit us tomorrow when we have my Tuesday Teaser – the REAL thing!

    • Hi Sundae! I’m sure I’ve shown that photo before but a long time ago so maybe it was before I knew you???? Anyway, just as the photographer snapped that photo my Mom’s Dad came out the front door of the reception place – it’s always made that photo more special to my Mom for that reason……………Thanks for the good wishes for my parents – I passed them on and Mom and Dad says HUGS HUGS HUGS to all of you!

    • Oh I think real costumes would be fabulous too! More of a challenge for the humans to try and dress up their anipals (like me for instance because I HATE wearing “stuff”!!!!)………but I do agree that maybe it evens the playing field more too………..

    • Thanks! My Mom and Dad have spent some time going through their wedding pix this morning – they do that every anniversary….then Mom reads from her journals all about their honeymoon. She’s kept journals of all their trips FOREVER so it’s kind of fun hearing all about them years after. Anyway, Halloween around my blog is always tons of fun so stay tuned!!

  22. This is your mom and dad’s 24th anniversary and they look so happy in their picture. Go Sammy’s mom and dad! That’s quite the achievement and I’ll bet your mom could tell you some stories about their life together that would make your hair stand on end! Congrats to your parents.

    • Oh I’m sure Mom could tell me some stuff for sure – but I’d much rather think that I have the PERFECT parents (hahahahahaha). Anyway, they’re going off to celebrate tonight at a fancy-shmancy Italian restaurant so I’m hoping for leftovers.

  24. Most impawtant thing of the day. Happy anniversary to your humans. Absolutely love their photo. Our mom’s mom used to tease her like crazy when she was a little girl, and then when she would cry would say that she couldn’t take a joke. A bit sadistic! Anywho…at least your Teaser is quite harmless except for the fact that it taxes the few brain cells we have left. Thanks so much from Mau for the great birthday pawty at Scouts yesterday.     • Thank you so much KB for the anniversary wishes for my Mom and Dad. They’re going out tonight to celebrate….hopefully they won’t forget the poor pitiful kitty at home when it comes to getting a “kitty bag” ! The Teaser is loaded up and ready to fly into the blogosphere tomorrow……good luck……..I hate to say it but I think this time it’s a bit of a TOUGHIE!     • Hi Miss Layla……Mom gobbled up the Godiva pretty quickly (!!!) and kept it up on a counter so I couldn’t have had it if I’d wanted it!! I know chocolate is a HUGE NO NO NO NO NO for us anyway. My Mom and Dad had a wonderful anniversary thanks!

Today is the Teaser and it will pop up at a SECRET TIME – I used to have it scheduled at the same time every Tuesday but this way some of my Teaser fans who are always RIGHT THERE when my posts go live are surprised and others get to guess first……….I hope you’re able to see it when it pops up today – – – – I can’t tell you when though since it’s TOP SECRET!     • Nellie you would absolutely make the cuddliest polar bear EVER! I saw that you have tons of snow – that’s just not fair!!!! I suggested a trip to the Bahamas with a bunch of cabana boys to keep you company……stay warm pretty lady! As for Halloween – I’m already excited!
