Marvelous Monday

MARVELOUS?   Kind of a strong word for the day of the week that many people HATE with a passion right?   Well, since my parents aren’t “worker bees” any longer and are retired, they kind of like Mondays instead of dreading them like they used to when they worked.  THEREFORE – MARVELOUS!!

Thanks to everyone who “liked” the artwork Mom and I did with that cool program we discovered Tagxedo.com   We made this yesterday too – in honor of Spring (which is almost is):

Mom put her OWN words in and changed the shape of the art to a flower in honor of Spring.  Now that she’s played around with it I can’t stop her.  HAHAHAHA   Hope you try it to – it’s just something new but quite fun.

Speaking of fun, we have one of our own favorite sites to share…..this is one Mom found AGES ago and many of you probably know about it already but it’s called “The Dialectizer”…….what it does is take either text OR a website address (like my  blog for instance) and change it into a PARODY……it changes the words to one of several choices of dialect…for instance, “Redneck”, “Elmer Fudd”, “Moron” (tee hee)……resulting in some pretty funny reading.   Mom hadn’t visited it in a while but she did it just now and used “Elmer Fudd” – it was pretty funny to read my blog with Elmer’s funny accent!    It doesn’t permanently change your blog or website or whatever you want to read – just long enough for you to get a good giggle out of it.    Give it a whirl.  HEY – we need all the fun we can get!   There’s about six different dialects you can use…….it’s not meant to poke FUN at a dialect – but just to HAVE fun with it – there’s a difference!

What’s tomorrow???  Huh???  I can’t hear you – say it louder…………..LOUDER……….. YEP – TEASER TUESDAY!

Last week our buddy Easy got First Right Guess – wonder who will be first with the right guess tomorrow???  It’s going to be another Guest Teaser too.   So who knows where or what it is……..it’s not one of my Mom’s photos!  You’ll just have to wait and see.  Remember the posting will go up at 6AM EST and whoever is FIRST wins a special purple badge and everyone ELSE who gets it right gets the Sammy Hug badge.  Speaking of badges, Mom and I are thinking of doing some NEW badges for Teaser winners.  We’ve used the same ones for AGES !!

We had a nice weekend of Spring-like weather for a change………….all the snow is GONE.  GONE…..and I hope it’s gone until next winter.   Dad is FINALLY getting to fly this morning so he’ll be in a good mood (and I like it when he’s in a good mood…..!!).   Mom and I will hang out here although I did hear her say something about “shopping”…….maybe she’s going to get ME something?
