Friday Fun

Hello!!!! Mom and Dad were gone ALL DAY yesterday – visiting my girlcatfriend Sundae’s Mom and Dad down in Hanover and Cold Harbor, Virginia. They had lunch at Hanover Tavern, then went a little further south and visited a BIG antique mall. The last time this group of four humans got together for lunch and antiquing they came home with this – remember? They thought it looked like ME (when I’m being pitiful which is frequently….haha):

This time Mom and Dad didn’t get a thing but they could have – they just resisted temptation! Here are a couple of photos of Sundae’s Mom and Dad and my Mom and Dad with a Japanese fly-guy print in the antique store.

What did I do while they were gone? I bet you know the answer to that – not as hard as a Tuesday Teaser is it?!?!?!?! NOPE – didn’t think so!

Snoozed on the couch….all alone….sniff….

Today is house cleaning day……..the monster is going to make an appearance soon……….guess I’ll head to the basement while I can…………………..

  Easy they didn’t bring me ONE COTTON PICKING THING! No food, no treats, no toys – ZIP. Isn’t that horrible? Mom and Dad weren’t sure what the history of that print were but it was kind of a fun photo for them to stand with since my Dad flies and Mom is often his “geisha” !! HAHAHA

  Fortunately the BIG snowstorm stayed north and west of here so we lucked out – just had three inches of snow PERIOD – not bad at all AND the weird thing is a mile from here they had NO SNOW! Go figure! Mom had a tough time not buying something on the antiquing jaunt trust me – – – but the fact she’d forgotten to bring her “mad money” might have had something to do with that! HAHAHAHA

YES my Mom and Dad actually had SOLD this house and BOUGHT another one when my Dad changed his mind and decided to call the whole thing off and stay here. Can you believe it? The house sold to the FIRST people who looked at it too….my Mom was – well – how do I say this – UPSET (!!!!) about it. The other house would have been less stairs to deal with which I would have enjoyed since I’m OLD like them! Go figure…humans are just so weird it defies description.
