HAPPY SUNDAY!     Time for selfies……………………Mom took a photo of me yesterday because for some unknown reason she thought it was a funny shot.    Why?   She SAYS she couldn’t tell which end was my head and which end was my “end” !!    Very funny Mom………I think it’s easy to tell!     Maybe you need new glasses???     Anyway, if you’d like to join us in the Selfie Hop – click the badge above and go to our host The Cat On My Head and link up.

So is it just me or can you plainly see ears at one end of me????  Mom needs new glasses like I said!

I do think this is a rather boring photo of me – and I was sound asleep trying to mind my own business when she SNEAKED up to the guest room door and snapped this.    Even though it’s BORING, I’ll do a puzzle of it for those of you who are puzzle addicts!     But I did tell Mom that photos of me should never be boring….I’m a very exciting cat (when I’m awake that is).

Caturday! Yay!

WELL OF COURSE!

What would Caturday be without a healthy dose of BACON after all?    We deserve bacon around here – just like bacon, we are FRYING here in Virginia due to ridiculously HOT temperatures so bring it on.    We’ll celebrate being hot as heck with some bacon and it will take all our cares and concerns away right?

Take daily to avoid stress in your life!

After we have breakfast I think Mom and Dad and I plan to stay inside for the rest of the day………….Mom mowed the lawn yesterday because while it was in the mid-90s, today we’re gonna beat that all to heck so INSIDE is the place to be and she knew if she didn’t mow yesterday, we’d be up to our necks in grass so she did it!

Today at Cat Scouts is a BIG DAY…………….two of my best friends are getting married – what?   YES!   My friend Mauricio from The Cat On My Head and his lovely Bride to be Allie from Friends Furever will be tying the knot at 11AM at Cat Scouts and yours truly is the BEST MAN (or should that be BEST CAT??).   I don’t want to share photos AHEAD of the big event but I will share some on Sunday so you can see how FABULOUS we all looked.

What else is going on today?  Not much………………….Mom might clean up her office (hallelujah – maybe she’ll find the package of cat treats she keeps in there for ME when I visit her!)……Dad changed the oil in the lawn tractor yesterday so he hasn’t got any “projects”……….and me?   Well, I do have plans for post-wedding NAPPING!!

How about you?   WHAZZUP for you today?   Maybe we should all have a QUIET Saturday…………….just think if we all slept and we all snored there would be this huge BUZZZZZZZ heard around the world!

What’s Up?

Well for one thing – our Christmas tree and other assorted decorations are UP………….so I thought I’d bore entertain you with a few photos of the Kimmell Kastle all set for Christmas!    I don’t have any OUTSIDE shots yet but promise to do that…….we have lights up out there but it’s been rainy and Mom didn’t want to get her camera wet (huh?!).

First of all, some obligatory photos of ME – these are only days old too (unlike me who is about to turn 16 years old!).

My stocking is hung by the chimney (with care….in hopes that St. Nicholas soon will be there) but it’s got NOTHING IN IT YET.   What’s with that?  I mean I know Santa Paws will put stuff in there on Christmas Eve but my Mom always puts a few lumps in there AHEAD of Christmas Eve……………..there’s nothing in there yet!   Maybe she’s afraid I will pull it down to peek?   Who me?  No way!

So we’re counting down to Christmas.  Mom’s making a BIG OLD TURKEY dinner too for Christmas Day.   It will just be the three of us here so there will be plenty for ME!

That’s about it for an update………….Mom says she promises to take more photos…………..and she will…………she’s a camera nut at the holidays.   Aren’t we ALL????

You’ve GOT to be kidding me!

Freak Out Friday

MOMMMMMYYYY!!!!!!!   Come home!!!!!!   No it’s not that Daddy’s been torturing me………it’s not that he hasn’t fed me or petted me or followed me around while I whine……..it’s not that he didn’t TRY to let he go outside and munch on grass……it’s none of those things……..his lap just isn’t as comfy as yours is!

Mom will be home from Auntie Carol’s later this afternoon and I’m excited……………………CAN YOU TELL????????????????????    I hope she had fun.   I hope she brings home some birthday cake……….Dad forgets to put warm water in my wet food to make it soupy like Mom does…….gosh I’m just full of complaints this morning aren’t I.

Well if you want to know the truth of what I’ve been doing while she’s gone………….I think you could guess pretty easily because most of you know me pretty well by now………………….

Yep – that’s right…………………..I’ve been up in Mom’s studio under my tent snoozing.  What a life.
