As almost everyone knows, we are all hoping that the missing member of the Blue household – Sawyer – who has been gone for a whole week now – will return home after his escape.    He ran out the door and just kept going – going where?   Nobody knows and in spite of Herculean efforts on the part of his family to find him still no sign of him.

Our SELFIE today really isn’t a SELFIE – at least not a SELFIE of me – it’s a SELFIE of Sawyer………….I made a badge to put on our blog sidebar yesterday and because he’s at the TOP of our minds every single day, I’m using the badge as our SELFIE this Sunday.

And because I didn’t want to make a puzzle out of sweet Sawyer, I’m using a PATRIOTIC selfie of me instead……………….Hope you enjoy your July 4th celebration here in the USA and hope you enjoy the puzzle too!

Sunday Selfie Hop

Hello Friends!   It’s Sunday and time for the Selfie Blog Hop hosted by The Cat On My Head.    Just post a photo of YOU on your blog – then go to The Cat On My Head (you can click the badge above and it will take you there) and link up with the rest of us!      Most of us are used to suffering through a session of photography courtesy of our Mom or Dad – they follow us around waiting for us to do something adorable so they can snap a photo.    My Mom actually forgets she has a camera most of the time so I do a lot of “flashback” photos on Sundays.    This Sunday I have a new photo but it’s boring.    Sorry about that!

SEE WHAT I MEAN?   BORING PHOTO….I’m on a concrete sidewalk with no plants around….just me.

So Mom uploaded this morning photo to Lunapic – chose the art filter called “POLYGONS” and look what she came up with!

This ought to make a pretty darn good puzzle don’t you think?    Here it is:

Sunday Selfie Hop

I’m afraid my Mom did be wrong again and didn’t whip out her camera this week to snap a NEW photo of yours truly.    Yep – she was supposedly “too busy” to do that so we’re resorting to our file of GREAT MOMENTS IN TEDDY’S HISTORY to find a photo of me taken this same time of the year in the past!     This one is from October 8, 2017………what a little kid I was!

I look like a kid! Anyway, we discovered that I’d never made a puzzle out of this photo so we made one for you puzzlers to play with.

Sunday Selfie Hop

Happy Sunday!   Time to Hop!    We do the Selfie Hop with The Cat On  My Head on Sundays and we hope maybe you will join us – just click the badge above and link up!

I am doing another of my “usual” FLASHBACK Selfies.    Why?   Well honestly because every time my Mom thought she could catch me for a photo this past week I was asleep.   Sound asleep.    I’ve loaded about 500 sleeping photos of me as selfies for the Selfie Hop and I’m sure you’re tired of seeing my tummy.    Now I say that not knowing what photo my FLASHBACK will be as I tiptoe through the photos and see where I was and what I was doing this same day in a prior year (it could be another tummy shot!)

Let’s see what I find – wanna bet I’m sleeping in the photo?

Ha!  I thought it would be a sleeping photo but instead this photo from August 22, 2020 is the one I came up with and it happens to be one of my FAVORITES!     I was almost a year and a half old and Mom caught me in my tent but thought I looked like I was in a flying saucer.    She chose this weird art effect to use and it kinda looks RIGHT for the photo.   Alien Cat!

Sunday Selfie Hop

Hi Friends!    Happy Sunday.    Looks like it’s time for us to join in the Sunday fun by showing a photo of us at our best (or worst) in this Hop hosted by our buddies at The Cat On My Head.    If you click the badge above you can join in the fun.

I am doing a FLASHBACK Selfie today because Mom failed to capture any photos of me this week.   Not that I didn’t give her plenty of opportunity – just she was distracted with things like searching for toilet paper in the grocery stores around here and photographing ME – her only son – apparently didn’t rate the same attention as toilet paper did.  Oh well.   Sigh.

What I did though was go back in time to this same week to see what photo she MIGHT have taken of me either one or two years ago.    Let’s see what we can find shall we??

How about this little gem?    This was from March 16, 2017 which was just over a month after I was adopted.    I apparently was so exhausted from playing like a crazy kitten that I didn’t even make it into my cube before I passed out.   Well I’ve always been a good napper – this is proof that I was right from the start!    Even just seeing half of me I think I look like a skinny kitten compared to my generous proportions three years later.

Let’s see how this looks with a little ART effect added……………………..

Mom used Lunapic.com and discovered this effect at the bottom of the ART EFFECTS page – there were some styles of several famous artists available there including this one which is called the “FRIDA EFFECT” – if you aren’t familiar with Frida she is a brilliant artist.   Mom toned this down a little but the textures are very cool aren’t they?    Did we make a puzzle?  OF COURSE WE DID!!!!!!

Just in case you’re wondering – this photo is from the same day and Mom took it from the top hole looking down on me – looks like I finally made it INSIDE the cube after all!
