Monday! Time for an inspirational thought – a little something to get us through another week. Everyone is invited to participate by posting their OWN thoughts on their blogs – SPARKS inspire all of us! “SPARKS” was started by Annie McGuffy of McGuffy’s Reader but ended when her blog was hacked some time ago. It was meant to be a way to start out each week with with a meaningful thought – something that spoke to each of us and hopefully everyone else who read it. Sometimes we need a little “spark” in our lives and these posts were meant to at least be a PART of that effort. Was sitting out in the front yard keeping an eye on my cat as he enjoyed the garden (and the wildlife therein!) and started thinking about how quickly time seems to be passing. Sure didn’t feel like it was passing quickly when I was younger but now that I’m……..well……OLDER time is flying by. I saw this quote and it struck me – yep maybe it is flying but it’s up to me HOW TO SPEND IT! Yep – make the most of it – we really aren’t here forever.
Sometimes it doesn’t feel like we’re in charge but we are. We can say NO to an invitation, we can say NO to a new commitment, we can say YES to a chance to do something we’ve never done before. Yep – we are PILOTS – all of us!
