Thankful and Thoroughly Poetic Thursday

Two For One Day!

First up is Thankful Thursday Hop with Brian – one we look forward to every week because we can publically share what we’re thankful for this week.    I am VERY thankful that my Mom and Dad are so understanding of my need to go for walks outside.   I know they wondered if I would be like Sammy and easily trained on leash and harness and WOO HOO for me – I was most happy about it.   If it meant I could go outside and sniff and walk and dig in the dirt and eat grass then I was UP for it.    Every day I get at least three walks – Mom or Dad or sometimes both of them.    Lucky?  Oh yes indeed I am!

There are so many things I’m thankful for though – this is just ONE of the things I love the most.

The next part of today’s blog is my Angel brother Sammy’s FAVORITE thing – the Thoroughly Poetic Thursday challenge…………………..and he works very hard at the Rainbow Bridge all week then takes a break on Thursday to write a poem and email it to me via his Bridge Wi-Fi connection.    Here’s what I got from him LAST night to celebrate this week’s letter – the letter “G” !!

Hello poetry lovers!    Your old friend Angel Sammy coming to you from the Bridge and this week we are writing poems about ANYTHING starting with the letter “G”!    I also gave you four prompt words for you to choose from if you couldn’t think of your OWN “G” word – the prompts were:

(1) Garden (2) Giggle (3) Groceries (4) Grandma

I had a lot of trouble deciding which of these to write about but I wound up picking my favorite because it was “Mom” time for me when she worked in her Garden!

“G” is for Garden

by Angel Sammy Kimmell, 7/26/17

Gardens are places where hopes can grow

You plant some seeds and watch the show!

Young seedlings pop up from the soil

Then comes the hard work but it’s worth the toil!

Veggies and flowers my Mom had gardens galore

She loved them all but the deer loved them more!

The critters would munch and get their fill

Mom’s All You Can Eat Buffet served food and they got no bill!

Time went on and she decided to change

No longer in the yard – she changed her range

She gardened on the porch and on the back deck

Plants she could raise and the animals were in check!

The woods around the house provided plenty for them to eat

The birdfeeders sunflower seeds were STILL their treat.

Our gardens are smaller but at least they survive

I always helped Mom take care of them as long as I was alive.

Sam enjoying the front porch on a pretty fall day

So did you write a poem today to celebrate “G” ???  If you did, put your blog link in my blog comments here and we’ll follow the link to read your WORK OF ART!    Or if you’d rather, you can put your poem in my comments – we can read the whole thing right there!    It’s FUN to write poetry – it doesn’t have to be in any particular format – it doesn’t even have to rhyme.   Just put your feelings and thoughts on paper and SHARE!

Next week we’re moving on to the letter “H” and I’m going to give you the prompt words but remember you can write about ANYTHING starting with “H” – the prompts are just for fun and in case you can’t come up with something on your own!!   Ready?

(1) Happy  (2) Hobby  (3) Heart  (4) Home

I’ll be here next Thursday to see how you do AND to share my poem with all of you………………until then, this is your friend Angel Sammy heading back to do my work here at the Rainbow Bridge.   Remember, I’m always watching out for ALL of you………………

Love, Angel Sammy

Thanks Bro!   Thursdays just wouldn’t be the same without a poem from you.   We hope our friends write something to share too.    Speaking of sharing, Mom has some new photos of me beating up my poor old red tent.   It’s definitely on its’ last legs but I love it like it was brand spanking new.    I’m kind of tough on my toys……the old white mouse that belonged to Sammy’s has been reduced to a pile of rags (Dad’s old handkerchiefs) holding it together.   It looks just like a big pile of rags and I carry it EVERYWHERE – I even take it to the room where my Mom or sometimes my Dad happen to be and leave it so it can guard them and keep them safe!

This was Sammy’s old mousie – just a white mouse that he used to keep up on my Dad’s dining room chair…..until I found it of course!

This my dear friends is what’s left of Sammy’s white mouse – held together with “bandages” !!!  BUT I LOVE IT STILL!!

I’ll be back tomorrow with Friendly Fill-Ins Blog Hop…….see you then!

Love, Teddy

Double Post Thursday is Here!

FIRST we are THANKFUL with Brian………

I am thankful this week because Mom and Dad took me to the Vet on Tuesday to get me checked out!   Why on earth would I be THANKFUL for having to go to the stabby place?   Well, because it was only my third time in the car EVER – once coming home from the shelter when I was adopted, once for an initial vet check, and this past Tuesday for a BIG checkup.   Why did I need a BIG checkup?   Mom thought it was a big problem that I won’t eat wet food – I’m OK with dry but my favorite “dry” is TREATS!   Not a good thing – treats should be treats and not a main meal.   She also wasn’t sure if it was good that the only water I drink is out of the faucet.   That’s right – I go to the nearest bathroom and squeak (I don’t meow – I squeak) for someone to put me on the counter and turn on the water so I can get a BIG FAT drink.   Mom wants to get me a fountain – Dad says it’s gonna be just recycled water and I won’t use the fountain……..DUH…………. She also thought that MAYBE I was getting a little – well – how do I say this diplomatically – well CHUBBY is the word!     When I went to the vet initially after I was adopted, I was 11 months old and weighed 8 lbs.   Now I’m 15 months old and I weigh (gulp) 14 lbs!     Probably the treats I love says my doc.   So,  now I’m eating Fancy Feast regular REAL non-treat dry food which I find “ACCEPTABLE” !    So what about ALL OF THAT makes me thankful?     Because I’m thankful I have a Mom and Dad who love me so much they want me to get GOOD habits and to be HEALTHY always – that’s why!

Wanna tell the world why you’re thankful or read what everyone ELSE is thankful for?   Then click the badge above for Brian’s blog, go there and enter your blog address with the LINKY TOOL and join in the BLOG HOP he hosts every Thursday!

Now I’ll turn it over to Angel Sammy for HIS Poetry Challenge Post!

Hello friends from the Rainbow Bridge!    Today we are working on the letter “C” in our third go-round on the alphabet……………remember, the poems have to be about something starting with the letter “C” – OR you can use one of my prompt words that I provided LAST Thursday on the Poetic Thursday post!     Those words were:

(1)  CAR  (2) CAMERA  (3) COOKIE  (4) CARPET

What did I write and transmit to my baby brother for today’s post????   Stay tuned.

My poem is using the prompt last week with the word “CAR” !

“C”

“Car”

By Angel Sammy Kimmell, 6/29/17

It was 17 years ago

When from the shelter I would go

Home with two people I would learn to love

People who were sent by angels above

I was such a lucky guy with a lucky star

UNTIL I GOT IN THAT AWFUL CAR!

For 16 years I’d have to travel

My patience and happiness would always unravel

I hated to be in that terrible thing

Because I knew what the trip would bring!

The vet was always my destination

THAT’s what would cause my consternation!

When I GOT there I was perfectly fine

It was the trip in the CAR that blew my mind!

I miss my parents more than I can say

But I don’t miss that CAR in any way!

So that’s it from the Rainbow Bridge this week……………hope you wrote a poem for the challenge – and if you did, you can post it in our comments HERE, or post your blog URL in my comments so we can come visit you and read your poetry!    Remember, it doesn’t matter if your poem rhymes – what’s important is that you give it a try…………everyone can write a poem………..honest!

With Love, Angel Sammy

♥♥

Thanks big brother…………………I am happy you have good wi-fi at the Rainbow Bridge so you can get your poem to me every week!    I hope we have lots of friends who decide to write a poem for “C” this week.   Now I’ll let everyone know what you chose for prompts for NEXT week’s letter “D” poem!    Remember everyone you can write a poem about ANYTHING starting with “D” or use one of Angel Sammy’s prompts:

(1) Danger  (2) Dandelion  (3) Dark  (4) Dinner

Great words Sammy!  Can’t wait to see what poems are written next week !

Til next Thursday!

Love and Hugs, Angel Sam and Teddy too

Thankful and Thoroughly Poetic Thursday

It’s Double Duty Day!

Thankful Thursday and

Thoroughly Poetic Thursday

First let’s talk about being thankful – because we are – all of us!   I’m thankful to be here in this home with my two parents who love me and spoil me rotten (Sammy told me they would!) and they think they are lucky to have found me at the shelter where they found Sammy so long ago…….(what they don’t realize is that Sammy arranged that to happen on purpose!).    Also I’m thankful that Mom and Dad let me go for long walks on my leash where I can explore the whole big yard and woods……….I love digging in the mulch especially!    Tee Hee      Would you like to tell the world how thankful you are?    Then click the above badge and go to Brian’s blog where you can join in the THANKFUL hop – use his Linky Tool, enter your blog address, post about what you’re thankful for and THAT’S IT!

The other thing we do on Thursdays is let my Angel brother Sammy continue with something he did before he left for the Bridge last December – write poetry together!!!     We are on our THIRD go-thru of the alphabet now and this week’s letter is:

“B” !!

Today you can write a poem about ANY word/thing that starts with the letter “B” OR you can use one of the prompt words that Angel Sammy gave us LAST Thursday for this week – what were they???

(1) Banana  (2) Bath  (3) Brave or (4) Balloon

Here’s the post Angel Sammy transmitted to me on my computer overnight!!!

Hello My Sweet Friends!  Greetings from the Rainbow Bridge!   I wrote my poem last night and sent it to Teddy to share with you today – I hope you wrote a “B” poem too!   Remember you can write about anything you want starting with a “B” or you can use one of my prompts.   I’m using the prompt “Bath”!

“Bath”

By Angel Sammy Kimmell 6-22-17

Some cats really love to get wet

But drinking from my bowl is as close as I’d get!

The first day I came to live in my house

When I was tiny – small as a mouse!

Mom said at the shelter I’d gotten quite stinky….

So she got baby shampoo and a cloth and put me in the sinky!

She washed me gently but I was VERY unhappy

She tried to clean me quickly and make it snappy!

She rinsed me off and sat with me on the floor

She kissed me and said that I was stinky no more!

A nice warm towel and Moms lap both felt good

I knew I’d landed in a GREAT neighborhood…….

That bath was the ONLY one that I ever had

I kept myself immaculate and never was bad

I kept my furs neat and clean as can be

Right up to the day that my soul was set free………

(p.s. we don’t need baths at the Bridge!!!!)

I hope all of you wrote a poem today to share with us – you can put it in the comments here on the blog OR give us the link to your “B” poem in my comments and we’ll follow you to read it!!    Next week we will do a “C” poem……………..you can write about ANYTHING starting with the letter “C” or you can use one of next week’s PROMPTS from me here at the Bridge – ready?   Here they are:

(1) Car  (2) Camera  (3) Cookie  (4) Carpet

OK?   I hope to see you next week – I’ll have another poem direct from the Rainbow Bridge for you and I hope you have something to share with all of us too!    Until then:

Love and Light From Angel Sammy

Thanks Angel Sammy…………..I like your poem.  Know what?   Even though Mom and Dad got me from the same shelter they did NOT give me a bath when they got me home that first day – I guess I wasn’t stinky!!!!

See You All Next Thursday!

Love, Teddy

Happy Thursday All!

Happy Thursday!     It’s Thankful Thursday hosted by Brian at Brians Home Blog and YOU get a chance to tell the world what you’re thankful for.    This week I’m thankful for those of you who filled out Angel Sammy’s poll about Poetic Thursday – and we’ll talk more about that in a minute.   I’m also thankful for my friends – everyone is so kind and caring and it always shows but most especially when we’ve had so much loss of friends which we have had yet again lately.   Almost every day we get word of someone else crossing that Bridge……….it makes us sad even when we know those who are gone are no longer in pain, no longer feeling the effects of age, or some other problem…..we know their humans are sad to lose their “best friends”.     I wasn’t living here at the time with my Mom and Dad but I do know that they were SO thankful that everyone helped them adjust to life without my big brother Angel Sammy.    We hope TIME will help those who have experienced loss recently………..

If you would like to join in and tell everyone what you are thankful for – please click Brian’s badge above – you will be transported to his blog and you can join in the Blog Hop by using the LINKY tool.

Angel Sammy didn’t let me down (he never would do that!) because he transmitted to me overnight his poem for today’s Poetic Thursday poetry challenge.    Today is the letter “Y” and his poem follows this bit of info about our continuing with our Poetic Thursdays.

Remember the poll I conducted for Sammy’s Thursday Poetry Challenge?   Here are the results:

Sammy’s Poetry Challenge #2

Answer Votes Percent
When we last polled you, 75% of those responding said LET’S DO THE ALPHABET AGAIN….would you STILL like to do that? 11 73%
We asked you in October 2016 if you’d like to do something DIFFERENT for poetry day – if you would like that TELL US SO! Leave a suggestion for me or tell me in your comments!

4 27%

Now about the above Poll………………….we were happy to see that there were more votes for continuing with the Alphabet Challenge for poetry day but there were STILL four of you who wanted something different – – – – so we thought why not combine them?

Starting with NEXT week’s “Z” end of the alphabet poetic challenge, we will give you a choice what to write your poem about for the following Thursday.    We will use the alphabet for the FOUR choices!    Example:

FOR LETTER “A” I might say “write your poem using one of the below four choices as your subject”:

(1) Aardvark (2) Antarctica (3) Asteroid (4) Applesauce           What do you think?  Sound like a plan?   Next week you will have your usual Poetic Challenge though – whatever you want to write about starting with the letter “Z” goes……….but we will give you FOUR WORDS with next week’s post for us all to start with the following week – maybe I should use those “SAMPLE” words I just told you????    I’ll consult with Angel Sammy!

Greetings from the Rainbow Bridge my friends!   As promised, I transmitted this poem to my little brother Teddy last night in his dreams…….and he is sharing it with you on my behalf for Thoroughly Poetic Thursday!!!

“Y”

 “Yellow”

by Angel Sammy Kimmell, 6/1/17

Yellow is the shining sun

Yellow goldfinches having fun

Yellow buttercups in the breeze

Yellow lemon ice from the freeze!

Yellow grass turns green with lime

Yellow tarnish on silver over time

Yellow nip nanners are a kitty’s delight

Yellow moon shining in the sky at night

Yellow old love letters tucked away

Yellow sun hiding on a rainy day.

Thank you Angel Sammy………………..I look forward to your weekly “transmissions” of your poems AND to your continued guidance and love even though you are almost always at the Bridge now.   I enjoyed your visits and I’m sure you will from time to time but you are where you need to be now – and I will carry on taking care of Mom and Dad for BOTH of us!!!!

Now for some confessions………….Mom thinks I’m a crazy boy because I have totally destroyed the first “kitty cube” she got for me to play in…..I still have it mind you – but Mom got me a NEW one a while ago – a pretty blue one which is not receiving the degree of KITTY KRAZIES that the poor red one did.    So here’s the deal – I want to keep BOTH of them and I play in BOTH of them all the time – every single morning in fact.   Mom and I hang out in her office before Dad gets up and part of what we do is play like crazy in my cubes!

See how wonky the old one is – from me laying all over it and beating it up like mad – bunny kicking, biting, attacking, etc.???   I can’t help it – I love playing in it and using it as a launch pad to land inside the blue one.   Yes – this is part of growing up I guess – destroying toys and having fun!    Also that purple ribbon is my current FAVORITE toy.   I drag it all over the house – this morning Mom found it on her pillow and didn’t even know that I’d deposited it there in the middle of the night!    Tee Hee

Tomorrow is Friday!   We’ll be doing the Friendly Fill-In blog hop…………will you??????????????????

Love, Teddy the Tent Destroyer

Thankful and Thoroughly Poetic Thursday

Standard

Hello All!  It’s “combo day”!

We are joining Brian’s Blog Hop to talk about being very Thankful (which we are) and also having our Thoroughly Poetic Thursday feature as well……….busy busy right?

This week I’m thankful for several interesting things – one thing is the subject of my Poetic Thursday – I won a trophy at Cat Scouts for my Derby car this year…….I was just so excited – after all, I was just barely one when I got the trophy…..imagine that.    I’m also thankful for my Mom and Dad being so patient with me as I learn about harness/leash walking.   I am a slightly rambunctious kid and only when Mom got a “jacket/vest” type harness could she really control me – I was able to squirm out of the old harness Angel Sammy had.   Mom says I’m like a greased pig (no offense Bacon!).    If you want to join Brian’s blog hop, just click on the badge below……..I know he’d love for you to share what you are thankful for – we all would!!

Now let’s talk POETRY!     This week our letter is “W” and as always, my big brother Angel Sammy “transmitted” his poem to me via – BRIDGE-O-GRAM yesterday morning so I’d be able to put it on today’s blog.   Angel Sammy is super busy at the Bridge but has time to continue with the poetry – it was his idea for the blog and we’re on our SECOND go-round through the alphabet.   If you’d like to join in, just post your poem in our comments here OR post your blog link so we can follow it and read your POEM at your blog!!!

“W”

“Win”

By Angel Sammy Kimmell, 5/18/17

My little brother Teddy

Proved amply that he was ready

For Scouts Cardwood Derby racing

A fast field of Scouts he’d be facing.

His “Teddy’s Moo Juice Truck”

Was fast and had good luck!

With help from friends like you

His votes were WAY MORE than “few” !

He placed in more than one category

With a big boy smile he basked in winners’ glory!

Dad put the trophy on the mantel over the fireplace…..

Waiting for another one to join it at the next Cat Scouts Derby race!!!!!

Thank you big brother Sammy for writing a poem about ME…………you make me feel like a BIG BOY !!!!!

The best part is that my big brother, Angel Sammy told me in a dream last night that he was EVER so proud of me – I already knew Mom and Dad were proud of me – after all, they helped me build the car I drove in the Derby – but hearing Angel Sammy tell me HE was proud – well – that’s the BEST!

I can’t wait for next year!   The only requirement for the Derby entry is that it be made out of cardboard – and we kitties love boxes – it’s a good combination!

See you tomorrow my friends!

Interested in joining Cat Scouts?   It’s tons of fun!   CLICK HERE    Tell them Teddy and Angel Sammy sent you!!!

First Things First…….!!

Can you believe that yesterday was our blogaversary and MOM FORGOT?   Well she did………….now I have an excuse as I wasn’t around when the blog was started – I’m the new kid on the block and I’m PAWSITIVE if Angel Sammy was still living with us he would have known and told Mom.    But we did NOT get the “wake up” call until today with our friends at Friends Furever wished us a Happy Blogaversary!    GOOD GRIEF MOM!     I’m so THANKFUL that we have friends who pay attention to these things since Mom wasn’t!    That’s what I’m thankful for as we join up with Brian’s THANKFUL THURSDAY.    Want to share your “thankfuls” ??   Click the badge and do that right now before you read more!

Mom and Angel Sam started the blog on May 10, 2011.    To me that sounds like EONS ago but then I’m just a kid.    Mom posted a link to our first post here on our blog yesterday, which was rather pitiful, rather short, and had very little interesting information in it – which is reflected in the FEW comments we got back then!    We’ve come a long way baby – we have tons of followers, tons of fun, and have celebrated the blogaversary ON TIME every year until now.    Here’s the link in case you want a good YAWN.    CLICK HERE

Since we’re a day late, we won’t get too carried away celebrating – let’s just say the chances are SLIM we will forget again!    Tee Hee    Maybe just a WEE celebration?

Mimosas

Yummy choc/strawberry cake!

Now shall we move on?    Today is my brother Angel Sammy’s Thoroughly Poetic Thursday post day – and he never lets me down – he always visits me the night before and brings me a poem he’s written for the occasion.    We are nearing the end of the alphabet again – this is our second time through…………but we will continue with a Poetry Day – we just might add a little TWIST to it which we’ll talk about after we get to “Z”!

Take it away Angel Sammy!

Greetings Poetry Fans!   Today we are celebrating the letter “V” !    If you have written a poem that you’d like to share with everyone, just put your blog link in my comments and let us know you want us to visit and see your glorious work – OR – you can post your poem right here in my comments if you like!   Put a little poetry in your life – you’ll be glad you did!

“V”

“Vacuum”

By Angel Sammy Kimmell, 5-11-2017

One thing that I totally do not miss

Is the vacuum cleaner’s whine and hiss!

At the Bridge we don’t need to daily clean

This place is the most orderly spot you’ve ever seen!

Monster machines in closets there are NOT

Wall to wall beauty is what we’ve got.

Back home on Fridays I knew the sound

When Mr. Monster would come around.

Our house was clean as clean can be

But Mom did “monsterizing” regularly!

When I got old and my hearing was failing

I got more brave and less scared of “de-TAIL-ing” !

That machine was a monster and I kept my tail under

If it had sucked up my tail it would hurt like thunder!

Nowadays from my cloud I can see little Teddy

Preparing to vacate when the vacuum is ready……

He hides in the basement until cleaning’s done

For sure that old monster is way far from FUN!

My Angel brother sure can write a poem can’t he?    Actually I have become a little more brave with the monster – when Mom opens the closet where it lives I watch until she plugs it in – THEN I run and hide.    I used to run the minute she opened the closet – I’m making progress!

Happy Thursday!

We will tell you about his visit here in the next couple of days but just so you know – he’s being kept company by one of Mom’s stuffed piggies AND one of Sammy’s stuffed kitty pillows.   He has naps in this spot and since this guy travels ALL THE TIME, he naps almost as much as I do!    THANKS for visiting us Bashful!

Part Two of Today’s Post is:

Thoroughly Poetic Thursday which is when we celebrate another letter of the alphabet as we make our way from A to Z………….and today the letter we have to use is the letter “S” !   If you have written a poem on your blog, why not post your blog link in my comments so we can read it!  OR you can post your poem HERE if you like in a comment.    Poetry is the spice of life!!  Write some today!   NEXT WEEK WE DO “T” !

“Snow”

By Angel Sammy Kimmell, 4/20/17

Snow, snow, so cold on the toes

Icicles hanging from your kitty pink nose.

Now you need to hear this bit of news from the Bridge

There’s no snow up here from the sea to the ridge!

It’s sunny each day and breezy each night

But there’s no white stuff falling – that just wouldn’t be right!

Snow is for you back here in this life

At the Bridge we don’t deal with trouble and strife!

We work hard up here, don’t get me wrong

But “Let It Snow” you won’t hear as our favorite SONG!

I might dream about snow but I don’t have to see it here at the Rainbow Bridge!!

As all of you know by now, Nellie joined me and so many others here at the Rainbow Bridge last Friday………..she is happy here but misses everyone “back home” especially her Mom.    My Mom thought she’d put together a little slideshow of some of the wonderful graphics and posters sweet Nellie and her Mom did for us through the years……Nellie’s Mom is a wonderful artist and Nellie was a great inspiration for her I’m sure!    We will treasure all of our memories forever and ever………………these are just a few of our special  moments.

Life

by Angel Sammy Kimmell 3/2/17

So lucky was I to have all those years

To live my life in safety and not fear

To have been spoiled and loved was the best of the best

To have humans who CARED – I was ever so blessed.

Now Teddy is there to carry things on

I can at last rest now that I’m gone

I’ll still be watching from afar

A butterfly flutter, a twinkling star

My mission on earth may be complete

But my mission at the Bridge is just as sweet

Guardian Angel to Ted as a changing of the guard

Though leaving my family was ever so hard.

I feel that now I can spread my wings

And concentrate on most important things

Like watching over those who I’ll always love

From my floating cloud at the Bridge above……….

Teddy, me, and my Mom want to thank everyone for their WARM WELCOME for Teddy………these are some of the cards you sent – there were others in the snail mail too and for that and the gifts, we are so very thankful but the BEST GIFT of all is your friendship!

“Gardens”

By Angel Sammy Kimmell, 1/26/2017

When I was young – a little kitten

With Mom’s plants outside I was quite smitten

I’d leap around like a crazy cat

I’d hide from Mom she really loved that!

My ginger head popped up here and there

Mom never quite knew when or where!

As I got older I learned to be calm.

Just watching the butterflies was my soothing balm.

Oh yes I’d chase them from time to time

But Mom allowed that – it wasn’t a crime!

Then came the day when I’d lie in the shade

By then the “fate” of our gardens was made.

The deer had discovered this bountiful treat

Everything Mom planted, the deer would eat!

So in the shade I’d stay with my nose in the air

I had not a worry, I had not a care.

Mom quit planting flowers it became too much work

The deer came along and pull out plants with a jerk…..!

So in my old age I’d simply sit by Mom

We both would relax, and enjoy all the calm.

At the Rainbow Bridge we have flowers and green

But my old back yard was the PRETTIEST place that I’ve ever seen.

Nice to stop and smell the roses....I mean mums!

I hope I’ll see you all NEXT Thursday when we do “H”…………I wonder what I’ll come up with for THAT one!    Come to think of it, I wonder what YOU’LL come up with too!!!!!

“Fun”

By Angel Sammy Kimmell, 1/19/17

Fun is what we all enjoy

Whether catnip or a brand new toy

Doesn’t matter – we love it all

Cats are made for fun; it is our “call” !

We’re born to play, and we do it well

Although we stop to rest a spell!

We fly around like crazy YES

Destroy the house and leave a mess!

Our humans love to watch us run, run, run

It’s all a part of having FUN.

Mom and Dad loved watching me play with my toys and run up and down the stairs………….of course when I got older and my arthritis began acting up I really didn’t do much playing or running but one thing I did manage….and I did this until the last time I was outside with my Mom a week before I went to the Bridge…….it ALWAYS made her laugh and hug me.   I did it since I was TEENY TINY.    I would be snuffling around in the leaves or walking around in the yard (always with human snoopervision though) and Mom would stoop down and call me and I would run fast as my little legs would carry me right up to Mom………I just loved coming to her and hearing her tell me what a good boy I was……she’d usually scoop me up and carry me back into the house………gosh that was truly what I would call………………………..FUN!    I miss that………a lot.

Now, let me hear YOUR “F” poem and next week we’ll be tackling “G”!
