We say “Arrrrgg” to all of you who were winners
You all are pros not beginners!
Three First Guessers sailed into port
Sharon, Jackie and Ingrid were FAST good sports!

The Tabbies of Trout Town beat all the rest!
Have a good Pirate Day on Saturday and grab some booty!
That person next to you at the bar might be a real cutie!!

Thanks girls – MEOW LIKE A PIRATE DAY is coming up but since we won’t be in class the Cheer Team thought they’d celebrate with you a little early!!!!!     Now – who’s UP for lunch?

Teaser Tell-All!

Happy Wednesday Tuesday Teaser Fans!  Time for me to tell you where in the world this photo was taken by my parents on vacation……AND to let you know that two people guessed the right spot!

“Lori” guessed “Quebec City” and that’s just where it was taken….and “Meg” from megtraveling guessed the right city AND the name of the hotel!Old Quebec City is where you can find this beautiful hotel called the Chateau Frontenac!

Here’s the website if you’d like to see some more pictures of the place (which Mom says it really gorgeous):

The Chateau Frontenac

Mom and Dad had taken their first trip across the border to Canada flying from New York City to Montreal.  They spent a couple of days seeing that city then hopped on a high speed train from there to Quebec City.  Mom said when they left the train station and the taxi took them to the hotel, she felt like a Princess going into a castle up on the hill.   The hotel overlooks the St. Lawrence River and it was nice to sit and watch the ships go by from the “boardwalk”.   They stayed there for four days checking out the entire city on foot and in one bus orientation tour.  On foot they traveled down little streets where street vendors were selling paintings, etc. just like it was in Montmartre when my parents visited Paris the first time.  People spoke French and Mom said they really forgot they WEREN’T in Paris!!  Friendly people, beautiful shops, and the hotel?  Oooh La La!!!

Even if you’re not much of a traveler – or never been out of your own back yard – it’s still fun to study a photo and see if you can find “hints” or remember something you’ve seen in a magazine or on TV or even in a movie that reminds you of the photo.  So play along if you like – I’m here teasing you EVERY Tuesday.

Big congratulations to Lori and Meg for knowing what city it was…..and thanks to everyone else who gave it their best shot….I love Tuesday Teasers and I hope you do too.  I’ve got a goodie for next Tuesday already lined up.  (insert evil giggle here)

A special SAMMY HUG to Lori and Meg for figuring it out and of course hugs to all of you who guessed.
