Sunday St. Patrick’s Day Selfie!

It’s Sunday and time for the Selfie Hop.   I’m thinking we will see a WHOLE LOT OF Saint Patrick’s Day selfies today.    I’m going to do a couple of FLASHBACK Selfies because I enjoy seeing what I looked like a year or two ago on this same date (or as close as I can get!).   If you’d like to join in the hop hosted by my friends The Cat On My Head, just, click their badge up above and link up with us all for some Irish fun!

This is my selfie from March 16, 2017 – which was just a month or so after I was adopted – I look pretty comfy don’t I ????

Then a year later, March 16, 2018, this was me:

HOW EMBARRASSING!!!!!!    I was still getting drinks out of the guest bathroom sink – these days I get drinks from Mom’s master bathroom sink.   A sink is a sink is a sink I say – the water comes from the same place!   

Anyway, today I’m Teddy O’Kimmell, red-headed Irish boy from Virginia.    I’m a very happy boy.     Since neither of these OLD photos of me have even a tiny bit of Irish fun in them, Mom has decided to use my St. Patrick’s Day AVATAR from Cat Scouts to make a puzzle for your entertainment today.     If it drives you nuts putting it together – have a green beer on me!     To make it a REAL CHALLENGE, I’m not going to show you the photo the puzzle was made from!    That’s right – this ought to keep you occupied for a while.    Tee Hee

Sunday Selfies Hop

Hello and Happy Sunday everyone!    Time for the Selfie Hop hosted by The Cat On My Head.    Everyone who wants to Hop long can just click the badge above and join in the fun.    I’ve been doing flashback Selfies for a while now……..and I have been enjoying seeing ME a year ago.    Hopefully you have too.   I will try to get Mom to take some more “NOW” photos although I honestly haven’t changed a bit.   I’m still a big boy and I’m still ginger (hahaha).

Here’s my FLASHBACK Selfie for today…………….This was a photo of me that Mom jazzed up a but which was taken on January 7, 2017.

It’s still one of my favorite napping spots in the whole house.    Mom doesn’t remember what Lunapic effect she used for this – OR whether or not she did a puzzle from it like she often does on a Sunday Selfie, but just in case she didn’t, she’s done another one and if you click the MINI-ME below you’ll go to Jigsaw Planet and have some puzzle fun!!

Now, in another bit of news, one of my besties – Cooper Murphy – who just so happens to be a Kitties Blue kitty from The Cat On My Head AND a fellow Ginger, is having his GOTCHA DAY celebration today so please be sure and stop by to wish him a happy one.   GOTCHA DAY is a great day to celebrate – the day we luck out and find our forever with a family who loves us a lot!    If you click HERE you can go there and wish him well……..

Sunday Selfie

Time for the last Hop of the year!    Kitties Blue (The Cat On My Head) has hosted this wonderful Hop for another whole year and we’re all about to start another year of showing ourselves off every Sunday.    If you’d like to join in the last 2018 Selfie, just pop on over to their blog by clicking the badge above and GO FOR IT.

Mom was trying like crazy to capture me in a photo with my new scarf and one of my hats she’s not been able to get me to wear since I received them but did I cooperate?   No.   Did she actually try to sneak me into them when I was at my most vulnerable?  (meaning when I’m waiting at the front door ready to go outside because she’s told me she’s taking me!)   YES!    I just screeched “no fair Mom!” so she took me outside on my harness instead.    SO that means instead of a new photo of me in some finery, I’m just ME.    And not only that but its’ a flashback ME………….from this time LAST year.   I suppose it’s better than nothing right?

So this was my Selfie from LAST YEAR at this same time………..just before we turned the calendar page into the first month of a new year.     For me – another year of loving my forever home……..for you?   Whatever you want it to be.    Just make it the BEST year ever OK?

As many of you know by now, most of the time, my “selfies” are not pix I take myself – like some of you smarty kitties can do – instead my Mom seems to delight in taking photos of me when I’m at my most vulnerable…….asleep.    Yep – she does it – sneaks in and WHAMMO, snap goes the camera and it’s done.  Then she shows them at her earliest opportunity.   This week she’s done it again.   Yesterday I was in the guest room which is right across the hall from her “office” where she does her computerizing.  I was in the “Granny Chair” (the chair used to belong to my Dad’s Mom) having a nice nap.    Dad saw me in there and told Mom and she grabbed her camera and before I could hop down, she captured me on film.

Then – as if that wasn’t enough – she popped this photo of yours truly into Lunapic – chose the “Daisies” art effect and got this:

Then, as if that wasn’t enough fiddling around with ME, she made a jigsaw out of the artsy version!   MOM – time to stop OK?   OK!

Sunday Selfie

Mom was going to take some new photos of me for Selfies BUT her camera needs a new battery – it’s on the shopping list for tomorrow SO no new photos!    We thought we’d use a “recent” photo instead – one of me that she took when I was lounging on the front porch before heading out for a walkabout.

Well by the time she finished decorating it – it was almost unrecognizable!    Below is the original – her jazzed up version (she used the ABSTRACT art effect from Lunapic then added a fancy-shmancy border from Pizap), AND a jigsaw puzzle for your entertainment this Sunday.
