SPARK on Monday and Teaser Reminder

Standard

It’s Monday and time for SPARKS.  What’s SPARKS???   You all know that Annie of McGuffy’s Reader – who started SPARKS – was hacked and has been on an extended break from blogging although her idea to spread some inspiration on Monday of every week goes on.   Many of us who participated in her SPARKS Blog Hop and found value in sharing a thought on Monday continue doing that to hopefully give each other a “Monday boost” – perhaps something to think about to inspire us in the week ahead OR help us deal with something that’s on our mind.    Why not join us by sharing something that SPARKS you?   It might just start a spark in us too.

I was thinking this morning about what kind of SPARK I might like to share……….and it came to be like a flash because I’ve been telling someone close to me that they need to have HOPE – without it we are drifting on the ocean of life without an anchor (well – I didn’t say that exactly of course!).   Anyway, I looked for something that conveys that feeling and found it:

Anyway I definitely think this is what I was trying to convey to someone…………we must always try to remember that there is ALWAYS hope.   The toughest situations are times when you need it more than ever.   No matter what.

Happy Monday and Hugs……..

Pam

Professor Teddy here to remind those of you who look forward to the Tuesday Teaser post every week that we will have one tomorrow at a TOP SECRET time so watch your inbox!     We’ll give you a challenging photo to figure out – you know Professor Angel Sammy and I like watching you INVESTIGATE and figure out where the photo was taken……….so we’ll see you tomorrow!

Sparks on Monday!

SPARKS is the idea of my good friend Annie of McGuffy’s Reader.   She thinks it’s important for us to share something uplifting to start our week and we think so too.   We are happy to be part of this positive Blog Hop and hope you will join in – just click her badge above and enter your blog link and share your SPARK!!!

It’s Monday again……..already………another week gone but another week ahead.    Time is like that – disappears then reappears and gives us HOPE.    Speaking of HOPE, that’s the subject of my SPARK today.   Something I keep in my heart as much as possible and it seems as time moves on I try to have MORE and MORE of it “standing by” in my arsenal of weapons to get through life one day at a time.   HOPE is also a big part of my mantra of positivity.    You can’t lose hope and be positive.   At least I can’t!

Another Maya Angelou quote that speaks to me.    I have room in my life for MANY things and always have in my 70 years here…….but given a choice between Hope and Fear and allowing one of them to RESIDE in my day to day living, I’ll choose hope every time.    Fearing sort of says “I’m beat and nothing can help”…….Hope says “I may be facing something scary but I have hope and I will win”………much more powerful.

My “heavy thoughts” for this Monday!      I am choosing to be HOPEFUL today – how about you??

Hugs, Pam

SPARKS for Monday

Standard

Happy Monday!    Ready to start out the week with HOPE?    So am I……………without hope – well – we just trudge along in what sometimes feels like a rut!     That’s what’s great about SPARKS on Mondays – I think we can share some powerful thoughts with each other to help give us a push to keep going with an open heart.    SPARKS is the idea of our good friend Ann at McGuffy’s Reader.   She felt that those of us who want to share a little “light” and a little “inspiration” with each other to perhaps brighten the corners of our OWN lives or of others SHOULD share.    A thought, a graphic, a photo, a quote – anything that might strike a cord in the heart of someone else.    If you’d like to join us – please do – click on Annie’s SPARKS badge above, fill out the linky form and join in the LIGHT of Mondays.

My quote today is all about HOPE.   It’s a VERY simple quote from an unknown person/source, but it says it all.   Having HOPE can be very powerful and propel us through all kinds of dark times into the light.    Without HOPE, the downward spiral can take us to dark places but with HOPE we can soar……………..higher than high.

It can be an exciting thought – keeping hope in your heart means you believe that all things are possible………………..and they are!    Have a HOPE-filled week.   I know I will !

Love, Pam
