Welcome Back for Part Two of our Halloween Fun!

What fun we had yesterday! Hope all of you did too……the contest was wonderful.     We have the results of the contest for you but we have Teaser business to conduct first!

The Cheer Team is saving themselves for a big finale today – announcing the winners of the photo guessing AND the costume contest so we’ll see them in a bit.

The dynamic duo of “Stinky and Periwinkle” !!!

If you don’t know who Stinky and Periwinkle are – WHY NOT?   HAHA     They are creations of Janet of The Cat on My Head and Sharon of Friends Furever.    They have a wonderful blog post every single Tuesday by either Janet or Sharon and they are ALWAYS up to some kind of fun adventure.   Make sure you tune in on Tuesdays.  I’m not surprised they won – they are very popular and have a big following in the blogosphere!    And who was our other entry that tied for first???????

Joanie from 15andMeowing!

Joanie is one of the many kitties living with Miss Ellen and her husband in Massachusetts and Joanie is known for being the “costume wearer” in the family!    She models her nurse’s uniform nicely don’t you think?   Their blog is so much fun and you never know what the kitties are going to get up to at 15andmeowing.

Teaser Tell All Halloween Style!

Hello Class!   Time to Tell All !

Well we’re one day closer to Trick or Treat.   Don’t know about where you all are but here we are scheduled to have RAIN and WIND.   Not an ideal night for goblins and witches to go out to collect candy and goodies from the neighborhood homes!    Mom says she used to HATE when it rained on Halloween because her Mom made her wear a raincoat and carry an umbrella and it kind of took all the fun out of wearing a costume.  Oh well………..here in Teaser Class we’re nice and toasty and cozy no matter what the weather is.

I sure don’t want to put a raincoat over MY costume!

TEASERWEEN Tell All and Costume Contest Winner!

 

 

 

Good Morning Students!    I know that today it might be a little troublesome finding a seat at a desk that isn’t already “occupied” by some kind of Halloween creature or decoration, but do your best!    We have Teaser Photo contest results and badges to award AND we have the winner of our TEASERWEEN 2018 Costume Contest to announce.    So it’s a busy morning!

I’m excited but the classroom is a little SKEEERY!

Do not be afraid……..just sit back and enjoy some Halloween fun!    Later on we will be visiting the cafeteria for our official HALLOWEEN LUNCH and Miss Dingleberry will be there to greet us with a rather frightening menu as you would expect for a Halloween meal.

Now, we must say again like yesterday that it’s wonderful so many of you dressed up for this occasion…………………you look fabulous indeed.

I think we’ll begin today with our TEASER EVENT from yesterday.    First of all we must congratulate the Student who was our FIRST COMMENTER!    Up bright and early and alert enough to be the ONE AND ONLY FIRST COMMENTER too!

I was FIRST to make a comment on the TEASERWEEN blog from One Spoiled Cat on October 30, 2018!!!   WOO HOO BOOOO!

Concatulations to you Miss Sharon!    Then the Teaser photo was the next challenge and here’s the photo we had for our Halloween TEASER………………..

We waited to see who would figure this one out – we had a lot of peeps who guessed it was taken in Transylvania…..and indeed it looked spooky enough to have been BUT it wasn’t!    This is a photo of one of the TEN MOST HAUNTED PLACES IN THE WORLD…………..This is “Schloss Moosham”  (the Witches Castle) in Salzburg, Austria.

Built over 800 years ago, Moosham Castle looks like something straight out of a horror story mixed with a fairy tale. It is often referred to as Witches Castle, and the reasons are pretty clear. This was the location for the trials and executions of thousands of women who were accused of being witches. Now, their ghosts walk the corridors; the blend of witchcraft and ghosts is terrifying for anyone who ventures within.

However, the supernatural activity does not just end with witches and ghosts. The dead bodies of deer and cattle have been found in the area surrounding Moosham Castle, leading to speculation that it could be werewolf territory, too!

EEEEEK!!!!   Talk about spooky – so who guessed it FIRST???

Wednesday With Teddy

Did I scare ya?   No?   Well, I’m not surprised.   This is the lame costume my Mom stuck me in LAST Halloween and other than the weirdo ears and hair and maybe the fangs, I think I look kinda cute and not BOO-worthy.

Today’s blog post is gonna be a shorty – basically I just want to remind everyone to get those photos of you in your costumes in if you want to be in our TEASERWEEN contest.   You have until Oct. 26th to email them to us but earlier is better.   Our Graphics Department (Mom) will be working to get the voting poll lined up before voting begins and you know that takes some time.

No categories for voting this year though – just vote for your favorite costume – whether it’s photoshopped or “for real” doesn’t matter…….it’s whatever you think is the BESTEST in your opinion.   Winner gets a surprise package too.   Swell huh?
