Know what?   It’s another FLASHBACK Sunday for me.       Mom didn’t take any new photos of me this week so we’ll dig back into the files and see what we come up with for this SAME (or close to) day and find out what I was up to.

This little gem was taken by my Mom at her computer desk on April 14th, 2017.     As you all know I began calling this my FOREVER HOME when Mom and Dad adopted me in February, 2017 so I hadn’t lived with them all that long.   However I DID soon discover that the top of Mom’s desk, behind her computer, was a great nap spot…….there’s a window there and I would start out looking out the window then decide to take a nap.    Sorry for the EXPOSURE in this photo but hey – we youngsters kind of let it all hang out without thinking about it don’t we!

Now Mom never made an artsy version or a puzzle from this photo so let’s see what we can WHIP up for you for a Sunday Selfie ARTIFIED post!!

WOWZER.   I like this one Mom………………she did this with LUNAPIC’s “WAVE” effect which made me look rather interesting AND makes for an even more interesting puzzle for you puzzlers out there!

Sunday Selfie Hop

Hi Friends!    Happy Sunday.    Looks like it’s time for us to join in the Sunday fun by showing a photo of us at our best (or worst) in this Hop hosted by our buddies at The Cat On My Head.    If you click the badge above you can join in the fun.

I am doing a FLASHBACK Selfie today because Mom failed to capture any photos of me this week.   Not that I didn’t give her plenty of opportunity – just she was distracted with things like searching for toilet paper in the grocery stores around here and photographing ME – her only son – apparently didn’t rate the same attention as toilet paper did.  Oh well.   Sigh.

What I did though was go back in time to this same week to see what photo she MIGHT have taken of me either one or two years ago.    Let’s see what we can find shall we??

How about this little gem?    This was from March 16, 2017 which was just over a month after I was adopted.    I apparently was so exhausted from playing like a crazy kitten that I didn’t even make it into my cube before I passed out.   Well I’ve always been a good napper – this is proof that I was right from the start!    Even just seeing half of me I think I look like a skinny kitten compared to my generous proportions three years later.

Let’s see how this looks with a little ART effect added……………………..

Mom used Lunapic.com and discovered this effect at the bottom of the ART EFFECTS page – there were some styles of several famous artists available there including this one which is called the “FRIDA EFFECT” – if you aren’t familiar with Frida she is a brilliant artist.   Mom toned this down a little but the textures are very cool aren’t they?    Did we make a puzzle?  OF COURSE WE DID!!!!!!

Sunday Selfies Hop

I was taking a major snooze in the guest room this afternoon when I  heard the unmistakable sound of the zoom lens on Mom’s camera doing its’ thing – I pretended I didn’t hear it – kept my eyes shut – I knew it wouldn’t take long for her to take my picture then I could return to LA LA LAND…………..She went all “MOM” on me when she saw how cute I looked.    I guess that’s what Moms do right?

Of course she also did a jigsaw puzzle for those of you who enjoy doing them !    I’m hoping for some uninterrupted napping time today though…………….she got her Sunday Selfie for the week so the chances are good I’ll get some major naps in.

Well I am ready…………..and all I had to do is go there and link up – you can do that too if you click the badge above!    I know you want to join us in showing off your selfie today.

Mom captured me snoring up a storm on the guest bed – you see lots of photos of me on that bed – it has great sun puddles (although I was a little late for that today) – while I missed the sun, I still had my nice soft towel on the extra soft quilt and snored up a storm!

You can almost hear me snoring in this photo.   HAHAHA     She just HAD to do an artsy photo of this one with Lunapic (one of the “new” effects called VanGogh5) and here’s how it turned out:

Not bad……….I approve………..I kinda look like I have a big old bruise that’s healing up on my right hip OR maybe I’m growing moss??????   HAHAHAHA     Anyway, I like it and we used it for the Jigsaw today!

Sunday Selfie Blog Hop

Mom caught me napping on the guest room bed – AGAIN…………seems that’s where I spend most of my snooze time so naturally she captures me there trying to mind my own business, peacefully and quietly until I hear that FLASHIE THING she calls a camera.    I will admit it was only a temporary interruption though  because I am the KING OF NAPS (although my Dad seems to think HE is!) and a brief interruption doesn’t bother me at all.   I immediately went right back to sleep.    No problem.

Then of course she proceeded to “ARTIFY” me with Lunapic – one of their “new” art filters called VanVogh5 – which resulted in this:

And may I just say that I totally approve of this filter – it makes me look quite dreamy and orangey and cuddly and oh so much like a wonderful watercolor painting!   Then Mom did her usual PUZZLE thing for those of you who like to do puzzles……………
