I guess my Kingly Decree last week didn’t stop Irma after all but I promised you double ration of bacon this week to make up for NO bacon last Saturday so…………………

Let the baconizing begin!

Uhhh…..’Scuze me, your Kingship, but my kitchen staff

didn’t show up this morning so it’s just ME

cooking for your Kingliness and

your Guests this morning so

I ask your Royal indulgence this morning??????

I’m sure my guests will understand………………oh and when that staff DOES show up – tomorrow or whenever – FIRE THEM!

Yikes!

Yes indeed – we can’t have NO SHOWS working in the kitchen.   What about when I have a Kingly reception or party – we can’t have unreliable staff!!!!  NOOOOOOO sireee!

UHOH……I didn’t know the household staff was overhearing our conversation Chef – but all our Castle Departments should be staffed with DEDICATED personnel!   Oh, Miss Pennyweather, your staff was listening to my conversation with the Chef!!!!

Rest assured your Kingship, Housekeeping is under control!

Caturday in Baconia

Welcome Baconians!

Another Caturday arrives………..and what’s on our minds here in the land of Baconia?   Three guesses……………….

Yep – so are mine!!!!!! 

First order of business here in my Kingly Quarters is the presentation of today’s bacon delights – they will pass by us here in my Throne Room as they make their way into the Breakfast Buffet we will all visit shortly…………..no grabbing from the tray as they go by !   Do not give into temptation !

One of our REGULAR delights on Saturday!

As you can see, we do have our favorite goodies around here on Saturdays and I hope they meet with your approval…………..after all, it is my desire – just as it was my predecessor, Angel Sammy’s – that all Baconians have their CRAVING for bacon satisfied at our table on Saturdays.     So with that in mind – please make your way to the Court Table and have a NOSH!

We even have turkey bacon!

AND………….beautiful Canadian bacon!

So now that you’re up to your eyeballs in bacon………………you can have a rest in one of the Court’s comfy beds and take a snooze before you head back out in the world and enjoy the rest of your Caturday!

 

We aim to please here in the Castle of Baconia………………….DO come back next week – the Castle Cook LOVES to make BACON so let’s not disappoint him!!!!

Good Morning Faithful Baconians!

It’s our favorite day of the week here in Baconia and I hope you too look forward to this day in your weekly schedule.    We gather together and rejoice at the JOYS OF BACON!   What’s better than that?   Well maybe a few things like catnip, etc. but we won’t get into that – we’re here to have BACON!

Firstly I want to thank my good friend Cat Scout Charles and his Mom Miss Inge for the FABULOUS card they sent to me and my Mom……………how’s this for totally cool???????

That’s obviously a replica of ME holding up the card – – – after all – – this time of day my eyes not very sparkly – at least until I’ve had my bacon – then they SHINE LIKE CRAZY!   HAHA

Now shall we have a bit of bacon to start things off???

Bacon Fun!

BACON – What’s Saturday Without It??

Well to answer the question above, I have to say that without bacon, Saturday is – well – BORING!    Or maybe that’s not fair since some people simply do not eat meat or CAN’T eat things like bacon for dietary/health reasons.     We are sorry that bacon isn’t on everyone’s menu but around here – Saturday has BACON attached to it for now!

I have a funny thing from the newspaper which my Dad gave my Mom AGES AND AGES ago – before Angel Sammy became an Angel – but she only today was cleaning up her desk and discovered it.   You know when Sammy and Mom started this blog years ago there was no “deciding on the name” for the blog – it simply and immediately was called ONE SPOILED CAT because Sammy WAS definitely spoiled and he loved it that way.   So did Mom and Dad…………that’s why Dad cut this out of the paper for Mom:

Gee Mom I bet you could have got that on the scanner a little more STRAIGHT!!!    Anyway, we love this………we just plain LOVE THIS.

Now – onward to bacon!   I thought this week I’d share a couple of bacon jokes/cartoons…………….we all can use a little humor yes???

Should we have our usual Saturday Bacon Breakfast???   Let’s see – what shall I have the Palace Chef bring in while we sit around the Baconian Breakfast Buffet???????

MMM…..bacon, mushroom, spinach, cheese and eggs?  Why not!  Overload!

I think that’s enough frivolity for a Saturday…………..I think we all probably want to burp, yawn, then crawl back into bed for a few more “Zs” before getting up and facing the day – am I right?

Of course I’m right – I’m King!!!

A Baconian Morning

Good Morning From Baconia!

Things are quiet in the Land of Bacon – which is the purrrrfect way to start a Caturday if there ever was one right?    The Royal Cook has rustled up some goodies for all of us to enjoy to start our day off with the usual BANG!     Help yourself to the buffet then have a seat and nosh away on the delightful delights here in the palace of the King of Bacon-land!     There are mimosas and hot chocolate to top it all off…….

Now that you’ve piled up your plate – come and join me and Angel Sammy at the table !!!!

If you feel just a tad overloaded with bacon or breakfast (or both) you are welcome to help yourself to one of the many guest rooms in the Castle of Baconia!  

 

Trust me – these are comfy!
