Spark on Monday

Standard

This series of posts called “SPARKS” was started by Annie McGuffy of McGuffy’s Reader but ended when her blog was hacked some time ago.    It was meant to be a way to start out each with with a meaningful thought – something that spoke to us and hopefully everyone who read it.    Sometimes we need a little “spark” in our lives and these posts were meant to at least be a PART of that effort.    Those of us who enjoyed sharing a SPARK have continued doing so on Mondays – and we hope one day soon Annie will be back blogging with us again.

So this is the last SPARK before Christmas. Well of course I had to find something about Christmas and just when I was about to give up – I found this………………….so without a lot of fanfare or explanation (because it doesn’t really need it!) I give you my SPARK to you from me with appreciation for being a blog friend. May your holidays be merry and bright.

Hugs, Pam

SPARK on Monday

What? It’s MONDAY again? Already? Time is so messed up – don’t you think??    Well let’s just grab it by the horns and start a great week for ourselves shall we?   We’ll start with a SPARK – for ourselves and to share.     This was Annie of McGuffy’s Reader’s thought when she started the Monday SPARKS posts before her blog was hacked some time ago.    She is working on coming back but until she can we are carrying on the “Monday SPARKS” tradition.     It feels good to be a light at the first of the week!

I have a wonderful quote that is from Maya Angelou who has said more incredible things more eloquently in her life than anyone I know.    Almost every quote of hers I identify with it.     I’ve known this quote for YEARS and every time I read it – I get a tear in my eye – really.

It wouldn’t surprise me if I’d actually used this as my SPARK before but I didn’t find it in my SPARKS file.    I truly love it.    I hope it speaks to you too.     I have known a lot of people who quite obviously don’t give a darn HOW they make other people feel – I try to avoid them like the plague.

Have a special and positive week – we’ll get together again next Monday and put some SPARKS in the air OK?

Hugs and Smiles, Pam

SPARK On Monday

Standard

Happy Monday!    For quite a while those of us who knew that Monday Sparks would hopefully be as uplifting to others as it has been for us, kept posting a message of hope, love, and positivity on Mondays even though Annie of McGuffy’s Reader blog – who began Sparks – wasn’t blogging due to having been hacked.    Well we got a big surprise last week when Annie blogged again and we are sincerely hoping she will be able to continue!    It was a brilliant idea she started – and we’re carrying on with it as we have been.    Annie – we’ll look forward to your permanent return!

I have a thought to share with everyone which I personally FEEL in my heart and I hope it will touch you in some way to start off your week.    Time is moving at a difference pace lately but we must remember that WE can’t wait for everything to be perfect in our world because that is going to take some time.   The trick is to be happy RIGHT NOW.    WE CAN DO THIS!

Pretty simple thought – might be hard to do unless you go into it WANTING happiness to be in your life – so let’s all just decide to BE HAPPY NOW.     We don’t know what tomorrow will bring.

HAPPY Monday!   Hugs, Pam

SPARK on Monday

What exactly IS this Monday SPARK thing we do?   Well, most of you know that Annie of McGuffy’s Reader – who started SPARKS – was hacked and has been on an extended break from blogging although her idea to spread some inspiration on Monday of every week goes on.   Many of us who participated in her SPARKS Blog Hop and found value in sharing a thought on Monday continue doing that to hopefully give each other a “Monday boost” – perhaps something to think about to inspire us in the week ahead OR help us deal with something that’s on our mind.    Why not join us by sharing something that SPARKS you?   It might just start a spark in us too.

I found this SPARK – a quote by Emily Dickenson which I’ve seen many times – probably in some SPARKS that many of us in the blogosphere have posted before – and thought it was a good Monday thought for myself…..and maybe you too?

What a wonderfully imaginative way to think of HOPE.    I feel like it’s inside of me all the time and if I am quiet – I can hear it AND feel it.     More and moreso these days.    I HOPE that I can always and forever keep HOPE in my heart.   I also would wish that for you…………..

Have a great week ahead!

Teddy and I say “KEEP ON HOPING”

Hugs, Pam

SPARK on Monday and Teaser Reminder

Standard

It’s Monday and time for SPARKS.  What’s SPARKS???   You all know that Annie of McGuffy’s Reader – who started SPARKS – was hacked and has been on an extended break from blogging although her idea to spread some inspiration on Monday of every week goes on.

I was thinking this morning about what kind of SPARK I might like to share……….and it came to be like a flash because I’ve been telling someone close to me that they need to have HOPE – without it we are drifting on the ocean of life without an anchor (well – I didn’t say that exactly of course!).   Anyway, I looked for something that conveys that feeling and found it:

Anyway I definitely think this is what I was trying to convey to someone…………we must always try to remember that there is ALWAYS hope.   The toughest situations are times when you need it more than ever.   No matter what.

Happy Monday and Hugs……..

Pam
